I guess really this is just a rant because it's not like WPN is going to do anything about it.

It's a absurd how many times you spam the satellites for the million GTD. At one point they were actually popping up every minute. I would never play in that tournament because of the connections, alleged ddos attacks, your delusional CEO, exit popups, and the fact that you spam me every minute.

But they would have to update the software to fix that or any of the current problems.

Like Santa Cruz said when we were trolling back and forth, playing on ACR with Windows XP is very stable for him. After thinking about it I had to admit this made a lot of sense. Wish my XP was still working (it was a backup) so I could test this theory but sadly it died earlier this year.

Solution: Stop trying to run a million dollar tournament when your software can't support it. Take the money you will pay in overlay and advertising (500k?) and put it to better use, like new software. Imagine if they were to actually have something to attract new players like new software and a stable connection!!!!!

I must not have been playing when they were every minute cause I didn't see that but yeah, what I did see was too heavy handed.

Whoever was sending these message blasts out over the weekend needs to be reassigned to a new task imo. Not only are they blasting it too frequently (maybe not their call), but they were hilariously blasting it several times Saturday night when the tournaments and satellites were frozen/paused by the host. I was in the $33 milly sat Saturday night and we were paused by the host for about 30 minutes or so, during which they continued to message blast to join the satellite (even to my satellite table, I assume it goes to all tables and they can't control that) stating it was "huge value" lol, like everything was running fine. It was clear either they had no idea what was going on (poor communication on their end) or their elevator wasn't going to the top floor because you should stop those blasts while the events are suspended by the host obviously. Eventually the satellite was canceled and refunded btw, so much for the stack I'd built. It did mercifully end the message blasts though, I logged off and spent the rest of my night doing non WPN things instead of grinding poker.

It's annoying while just 3 tabling, when I used to play a lot of tables it was a real pain in the ass as it covers where I usually look at the chip count in the middle and while multitabling every second counts and this and other software features slow you down a lot.



Seriously tho I want an option to turn this off. If I wanna know about tourneys, I'M GONNA LOOK IN THE TOURNEY SECTION, not the table I'm currently playing. I understand it helps the recs but I can navigate and do navigate the tourney section nonstop.

At the very least can we make the banner a little bit more translucent. So that way we can still see the action on the tables. I'm sure making that change should be pretty simple.

Yes very annoying. Sux when you're in the middle of a hand and cant see the pot count. Wouldn't mind it if it was out of the way. But really right over the pot?

current popup sucks, my only reason is because you cant click an x to close it you have to ait the hoever long amount it time it takes to disapear by it self
