I would say "instant", but it's probably not instant. In the instances I've done p2p transfers it was confirmed received within a few minutes.

I have seen it be as long as a few hours to instant

I would say on average, it has taken about 10 - 15 minutes.

sometimes its in a instant other times it takes a while. If it takes longer than 15minutes ask the sender to contact support and they'll check and see whats wrong and maybe even expedite it.
