In light of the recent post "Confessions of a Botter" I have decided to look through my database and try to figure out who I think could be bots at the stakes I play. I have found a huge group of various screen names from Russia all playing 17/13/5 with 55 Cbet, 50 FCbet and WSD of 60. No clue if anyone has found the same but I am mostly concerned about trying to put a list together and maybe ACR will do something about it.

You can do whatever you wish but if I had that information, I would exploit that info and print money. Just my opinion. Gl

The problem is that playing against a bunch of nits at FR doesn't really allow me to print money. Would much rather those seats be filled in with humans playing 25/10/1.

I think we should just stop letting Eastern Europe (where cost of living is cheap and botting micros can be a very lucrative career) from playing the site. That is if the idea is to take away the most botting possible.

I am dankmann and definitely not a bot. If you want proof you can look on YouTube. What's up Samball49? I see you out there all the time too, I like your game, we play a similar style .

Most of these people have the connections and capabilities a lot of us don't have where we come from. The groups running bot farms and factories will simply set up shop elsewhere and do it all over again. It really is a lucrative form of business when the sites refuse to take a strong stance on botting. I think stars and party are the only proactive against botters.

Nice! I think it would be helpful if you posted the stats you have on these players, including the sample size. Other players can then chime in and confirm they have the same stats for these players and maybe also ID other players/accounts with similar characteristics. I wish i had more value to add, but i dont play cash.

Just those 4 names alone are similar. The one capital letter and then words.

I mean it's easy to just tell based on location , join date and when they all instantly join games together.

I've got two more potential bots. Both Eastern European, both joined about a week ago. I am trying different things on them to see how they respond, like min 4 betting when they 3 bet in position. Folding most of the time which is odd.

I have a ton of hands on people. I was noting some players and after i saw your post i started looking at the numbers. Found a few of the newer accounts that are similar, but these 2 stuck out for sure.

Players slctd and clumsy1862 have almost identical numbers.

I'd be surprised if Led177 and Obamka were bots, but who really knows? I played a lot with them the other day, and they were doing a lot of weird things. I don't have stats on me, but anecdotally Led177 limped most hands, and would limp/raise or limp fold. Obamka tried for a big bluff on a 3 club board with the A that I eventually called with 2 pair. Srge223322 and Ksander could certainly be bots from what I've seen.

Led177 and Obamka could be bots their playstyles are somewhat different than the others, and feel like they could be human. I also remember them both not having the full 100bb often.

I thought the Pete Rose plug was the best in that video.

How much does timing come into finding bots? If they activate time banks = not a bot or quick action = bot?! I've got hundreds of hours of footage I could look through.

I don't have a huge amount of hands on either, like under 500 for both, but from what I saw fisharapoker had very similar stats I think it was like 18/15, I don't have them on me right now. But from what I saw, if they were connected they might have been using two different profiles. M1 was running like 28/21 . They were also had very unusual timing patterns. They probably built a randomness pattern into the bots

I raised this problem in a thread around two years ago and contacted WPN about the issue via email and by PM'ing a rep on the forums here and literally never received a reply PM and just the standard copy/paste email reply from support. Like I said in that thread, those accounts disappeared never to be seen again like less than five days after I made that thread and notified WPN.

After a while new accounts from Russia just kept regging and playing so similar that I figured it was more of the same. At one point when my volume on WPN was much higher I was working on compiling a database for identifying them to report but my comp blew up about 3-4 months ago and I've never really started again as I'm just not putting in much volume on WPN because of this very reason.

I do want to say that I remember looking at most of the names listed and I think golfergopher is correct that Led1 and obamka don't really fall in line with the others. The others are, imo, almost assuredly bots of some form.

So we think that Ksander, Parcker, Alfaluck, and srge223322 are most definitely bots?
