-1 5 hour late reg is amazing, the structures really help lower variance. It's not like they're being done for every tournament. In the $10 plus range there is only a few tournaments daily that are 5 hour late reg. If you don't like them there are plenty of other options (not to mention just late regging like other posters here). The turbos themselves are great structures for being a turbo but if there was such a demand for these MTTs they'd get bigger pools.

Yea I just saw the $7000 GTD Early ($20) 6:30amEST start and its now 3:40 LOL and still 15 players left. So far is running for 9hrs 10 mins WTF!?!!?? LOL That gonna last atleast another hour+ I would say to finish.

I don't want them to change the timing. I'm cool with late registration and having some with more and other with less chips than I have. I wait until the right table is ready to seat and then enter. Without the very long registration periods, I don't think every game would fill up the purse.

Personally, I don't know how people have the stamina to play for 5-7 hours prior to when it matters. The only game I will start less than an hour into the game, as a rule of thumb, is the Sunday night 50K.

Agree with everything that has been posted about the tournament structure on this. Seriously aren't these structures similar to like deep stack tournaments on pokerstars? I play stars since i have access to ROW sites. Im american who relocated a while back.


When i play on stars, any tournament that last 9 hours is going to have a good prize pool unless its one of those deep stack tournaments. I look at wpn wanting to play some tournaments, all the structures are super deep. I mean whats the point of late reg for 5 hours? Even pokerstars doesn't have that deep registration unless its one of those special tournaments etc.


I mean you have 5 and 10 dollar tournaments where there are less than 500 players. These tournaments are lasting 10 hours. So 5 hour late reg, then how long before everyone makes the money? Another 2 hours? So 7 hours to basically mincash? I can understand this if its some 215+ buyin or 500+ dollar buyin. But they are doing this across the board. I think there are tourneys wheres its 5.50 buyin. Less than 200 plaeyrs. These tournaments are lasting 7 hours.


Why don't they just copy pokerstars structures? At around the 3rd hour, every pot will count since stacks are lower on stars. In WPN, how much is your stacking stack in BB if you late reg 3 hours? Im guessing still 50bb? People keep saying there is more play etc. You really want to play 2 hours of 100-250 bb poker where most of the time, no one is playing big pots since these are going to be small pots unless you have some crazy players?


WPN allows players from US and ROW though i know certain state restrictions. I mean who in the world wants to play tournaments that last this long? Very few percentage if any.

5 hours late reg sucks. It's ponitless playing for 10 hours for extra 9 bucks. That's why sng are better sometimes than mtt.

Yes? Why exactly do you need sounds to know it's your turn? You can change the settings to automatically switch between tables so once you act it moves on to the next action. I haven't used sounds in years because of the issues/annoying sounds and I 8-12 table regularly without issue.

That or turn off all sounds except the "your turn" sound.

iirc, it's the "your turn" sound that glitches out. It is annoying as hell to have happen.

I'm familiar with the beeping bug and i've figured out when it happens.

When you click fold at the exact time your regular time runs out and your timebank kicks in (it makes a beeping sound right when your timebank starts) then it will beep over and over. Only restarting the client fixes it.

Do tournament imports not work with PT4/ACR? Mine do not show what position I placed in, how much I won/lost etc.

No, but you can manually fix them.

Well here's my suggestion that they add tournament reports for PT4 support. I like ACR but there are some pretty major issues that keep me from really loving it. I wonder how many more people they'd bring in if they made some simple changes to improve the software.

I turned off the "Begin Turn" sound. It might be the most annoying sound on all of the Poker sites sounds combined...Just have it a normal beep like PS....No need for it to be like a friggen melody LOL

I've suggested it as have others many times, they don't seem too worried about it. It's not a huge deal to spend 15 minutes after you finish to type them in, just don't be lazy like me and let them pile up for 2 weeks.

BCP is using up to 50 % CPU and the games are really laggy when I play 9 tables. Didn't had that problem before. Did anyone else notice?

Is there a way to filter out satellites from the tourney lobby or am I just blind?

The green text just fills up the lobby and I have no plans on playing a satellite.

anyone ever have this problem on ACR with dual monitors?

I had my laptop plugged in to an external monitor. I registered for a sng. In the meantime i disconnect from said external monitor and move to the sofa on my cash games...

Unbeknownst to me someone registered my SNG and the software output it to my "other" monitor while i had idea and he blinded me out. I tried it again and sure enough it output to the other monitor with no way to bring it back to my laptop's monitor.

WTF?
