What other reps are there in here? I can't get a hold of ACR Rep and live support has been utterly useless for the past going on 2 weeks.

I tried WU for about this exact amount and WU cancelled it (this was bovada fwi) Let me know how this works because I cant figure out how to get this much money on the site. Tried to trade in the transfer thread but no luck.

I can prob do that for u assuming ACR doesn't get my card activated in the next day or two which I highly doubt as it's already been 2 weeks...and could accept WF or ChaseQP.

I have never cashed a bank draft before. I plan to make a withdrawal request by bank draft.
Do I just take it to my bank and give it to the teller? Should I be prepared to answer any questions about where it came from?

a bank draft just means a check. you can either deposit it in the atm or you can go inside and deposit it with the teller.

I have recently received a debit card through True Poker and have just made my first cashout to the card. It showed up on my card balance in about 24 hours. I have attempted to do a cash advance and also to purchase a money order with the debit card. Both transactions were declined. I logged into the account for the debit card and it now shows a $1 fee for a declined transaction due to insufficient funds. The cashout to the debit card is not pending and shows the funds in the available balance. Also the cash advance and money order purchase attempts I made were definitely less than the balance of the debit card. I attempted to contact the debit card company through email and no reply. Does any one have any ideas? Thanks.

I'm unable to deposit checks at the atm.. When I try I get a message saying "Bad MICR"

Just have to mail the checks in and wait another 3-4 weeks for collections

I just don't want to have to answer questions about who it's from, what it's for etc. and have to lie about it not being poker related..

you don't have to answer that stuff. if you want to, you can always just say it's for internet work that you do.

I understand where this concern comes from, but don't worry about it. When's the last time you went to deposit a cheque and had the teller ask you where you got your money?

If they do ask ask them if it's standard policy to query their customers about that information, or tell them it's from internet work or something vague.

Okay, so here's the deal with debit cards, as I went through this ordeal donking off half my Wednesday with this nonsense:

Debit card max withdrawal is $2500. You can only cash out once a week via any method. If you try to do it more than once within a 7 day period, they will email you, freeze your cashier withdrawal button, remind you of their policy, and you will only get your account restored if you email them that you understand.

They will automatically deduct ~$25 for activating the card + a $1 load fee.

Any ATM withdrawal is considered a cash advance and charged with a 3.5% cash advance fee.
If you try to get a cash advance at the bank off the debit card, it will be considered as a cash advance and you will be charged a 3.5% cash advance fee.
If you try to buy a money order at the United States Post Office, it will be considered as a cash advance, and you will be charged a 3.5% cash advance fee.
Starting to get the picture?

So how do I, the talented, hardworking grinder who will be pulling thousands and thousands of dollars a week off of ACR via this debit card, actually get the money I so rightfully deserve?

Walmart.

The Walmart Money Center will get you a money order for $0.70 up to a $1000 each. So for that remaining $2474 in your account, you can order up 3 money orders totaling $2470 for $2.10 Walmart fee + $1 debit card transaction fee. Instead of the transaction registering as a money service, it comes across as some sort of purchase.

Now you may have to wait half an hour in line, especially during the first of the month but just go right after they open super-early or super-late.

Hope this helps.

My check finally cleared at my credit union.

Turns out they received the funds months ago but forgot to release the hold on my account.

when i withdraw from the debit card, ACR charges me $2..then if u use an ATM to withdraw, the card issuer charges $4..so on a $2500 withdrawal, its essentially $2 + $4 +$4 +4 (since alot of surcharge free ATMs {sheetz and getgo} i use have an $800 max) so around $14 to get out $2400

*Also the load fee is $2, not $1.

Let's see, it took 5 wks to get the card and finally after 3+ wks of nonstop back n forth with support and the card company I finally have an activated card. It already had the cashout I requested maybe a wk ago in there, and had to btch with them for a while to get them to put on the $25 Initial card load that everyone pays for, but it's finally on there as well.

A major pain in the azz all together, but should be smooth sailing from here on out just cashout to card and cashout, haven't used it yet though but should be good to go.

i dont know where you're getting 3.5% from. i do a cash advance every 3 weeks for $7500 off the card from my bank and am only charged a flat $3. i've done cash advances for $2500, $5000, $7500. and it was $3 each time for one transaction.

Must be a different/earlier(?) debit card company. I can only relay my experiences with the 3-4-5 Debit Card and their fairly responsive customer service people. If it came up as any sort of money service transaction, as of early September 2014, this company treated it as a cash advance and charged 3.5%.

If they've changed their policy since you've gotten started or in the last 10 days then good 'on 'em.
