Deposited yesterday with Wells Fargo. They couldn't get it to go through for a while and then 10 min later supposedly in went through and was told it takes two business days to clear. Woke up and checked my bank account and the check is nowhere to be found. Is this normal? Will it show up tommorow? Or does that mean it bounced?

Maybe it wont show up until those two days past? Was you able to see it in your account before?

so the most you can withdraw in one transaction is $2500 through debit? they dont give special wire options to higher stakes players?

I tried to get them to give me a special cash out after winning the $50K and got denied. Pretty lame if you ask me, but not really going to complain much about getting $2,500 a week off w/ debit.

My bank refuses to accept Canadian check!

My credit union accepted the check, but it's been a month and it hasn't cleared yet.

I've heard of banks not accepting them, but it's usually the larger banks. Try opening an account at a smaller regional bank or credit union. I've never been denied at any of the smaller banks I've used.

You've got it backwards, the bigger the bank the better. Ideally you want a bank that does banking in other countries as well. Credit Unions have more problems with these checks on average. (based on this thread, the Bovada thread, and the Merge thread) Not to say every credit union handles them bad, but it's more likely. I had the same issue with my credit union and haven't had any problems since going to the big red white and blue bank.

Yep, from what I can tell the bigger banks have less problems with international cheques. Also, depending on the teller/branch, they're going to be more or less likely to send to collections.

Also, totally forgot to mention this, I finally got my tracking number for the cheque that was "sent" on 14th. I put "sent" in quotes because it seems it was sent out on the 24th, but whatever it's on its way.

A few years ago I tried to cash a check at Chase and they flat out refused to accept a Canadian check.

So I opened up an account at a regional bank and they took it no problems (and cleared it rather quickly too).

Ever since Chase rejected me I've been staying away from the majors, and haven't had any problems (except for my new credit union taking a while to clear my last deposit).

I don't think it's a difficult for any of them to cash a Canadian check if they want to -- it's our direct neighbor, whom we have a free trade agreement with. Almost every Canadian check I've ever received also said it could be cashed by the bank's NYC branch in fine print.

Doesn't actually say when it's supposed to arrive, just tracks where it's been, where it is, what times those things happened, etc.

So I logged into my ACR account for the first time in a couple weeks looking to deposit and play some pokerzz.

Then I found out my only option for depositing was player to player transfers, I immediately think to myself that this is odd, considering I deposited just a couple weeks ago via credit card.

So I get on live chat and ask what the problem is, and I get this response:

"our security system detected that your account has been reported by another company due to some problems you have or have had with them. We understand that this has nothing to do with your poker account, however due to security reasons and looking for the interests of our company we can offer you to use Money Gram or Western Union in order to fund your account."

They wouldn't give me any more specific information, but I am not aware of any problems with any other companies. Anyone have any idea what they are referring to?

Charge backs most likely. There is a list that is accessible to gambling sites that has the information of people who have initiated charge backs. That's the only reason they would disable Visa afaik. You could have did a charge back unknowingly or if you share the card w/ someone since the deposits come up as random things.
