That was not his question, he has already cashed checks without a problem. He was asking about the legality and that is state by state. If he lives in Washington state, he could be charged with a felony.
You can't rely on the past and say if won't happen because is has not happened. Nobody lost funds before Black Friday by confiscation and look what happened.
The online poker landscape is changing. Do you really think that the states the legalize it and tax it are going to be losing tax revenue and not push to get the business that is now going outside the taxing grasp.
