busted in 83rd.......
Couple of things make me nervous of the 5 Sunday Million Tournaments coming up. First is that this tournament had overlay, factoring in the fees, they made up for it. However, most of the satellites had huge overlay, so there is no telling how much money WPN lost overall. With Punta Cana eating up the SNC and Beast for the foreseeable future, how much $ will be lost by the site....1-2 million???? Now they are putting free $ in a bunch of accounts, huge reload bonuses etc......I was caught in the too good to be true nature of Lock Poker, and now this has some of the same features.

However, there was a ton of foreign players in the tournaments, been a long time since i sat at a table with less than half the players U.S. That was a good feeling. So if that is the goal, attract foreigners, this might work. Then again, I think most will play the millions and nothing else.

i see theres 8 people left in the millions now,,, any1 know if theres a twitch stream?? like last time tho to follow?? tyy

Their goal is to attract international guys which they are doing. I seen a handful of pros yesterday and with the current state of 1 of the competing us sites not paying out for 12 weeks and the other certain states are banned wpn is the only option.

I highly doubt they'll have any liquidity issues as although there was 30k overlay there was also over 75k made from rake!

I'm excited for more tourneys but just wish there was a leaderboard that would give incentives for guys to grind more than just the milly and all of the tourney on a schedule during series.

the structure could be improved a bit but it was a good tourney

actually not sure it needs many/any tweaks

Three cheers for a pretty smooth tournament overall!

Next time start the big 100 seat satellite a lot earlier...the 12 PM EST satty to the 540 didn't end till about 4-430 so the players who sattied in got screwed starting the tournament very late.....not really a good idea nor fair to the common player who wants to get a fair shake in a big tournament.

i heard this tourney ran for 16 hours, that **** cray. what time did it start??

also, they must have been a little worried because Sunday evening not long before late reg ended, i got a call from a WPN rep saying. "hey, you have enough points to by into the million, late reg is closing soon." sick brag

Christ, 16 hours? That's too long even for me, and I used to love this game more than anything. Can you imagine how boring that is? Can you imagine waiting 14/16 hours, with shallow stacks, get AA, and lose to 22 cuz of a set on any street? What then? Rofl...

I guess the trick is to look at something like this like an acid trip, if one were to get involved and have absolutely no expectation of winning until the final table.

It is pretty long, the Sunday million lasts on average 11 hours, I think. They should try and figure out how to shorten it somewhat, my guess is they cant, because late reg is open 6 hours

According to site it went 12 hours 50 minutes. For 2k players with a million prize pool, it's worth it. Reg ended 8:20. We got into the money just after 9

Thanks for this information though. If I ever decide to play poker/this tournament (since you could theoretically win all losses in 12 hours), those are the most important things. All you have to do is survive for 12 hours, just past 9, and you'll get paid. Fun

sO THAT MEANS FOLDING ACES SOMTIMES PROBABLY, AND NOT GOING ALL IN PREFLOP OFTEN, IF AT ALL. IS THAT WHAT RAINY DID? DID HE FOLD ACES AND BIG HANDS TO BETTER ONES?

I mean like, if you didn't have a ****ty 9-5 to wake up to, and you knew you were going to get at least 20k ( a year's worth of work for me ), it wouldn't be such a big deal. But like I said, what if you got AA with 30bb 14 hours in, have a guy call with 55 and hit his set, and you get nothing. That's some kill yourself **** right there, no?

lol no?

If you run deep and score several thousand or more and can't get up for work the next day, take a sick day? Seriously we should have such problems.

Hey, I have been curious about the withdrawal process as a player in the USA, any help with these questions would be greatly appreciated. A few questions I have are:

Does WPN offer bank wires to american bank accounts, especially after a win of this magnitude?

Also would an american bank allow this to be wired to an account?

After that what about tax implications, how would I claim this due to the regulation in USA?

Just get a check, as long as its under 5k the banks wont question it.

Word. Yeah I guess this tournament is worth 500 given all the hands I've played in the past and money I've lost. When is the next one again? If I were to transfer 540 or whatever it is from my bank account to Sircle, would my bank question it? Also how many people registered for it? If I scored tens of thousands I'd still go and just do a line beforehand, feeling like a king

You shouldn't have any issue with the wire coming in. I get them from Bovada quite often and have never had an issue.

As far as tax implications go, poker is not illegal in the United States (sans a few states), despite popular belief. Just pay your taxes and you have nothing to worry about. They don't care where the money came from, they just want their share. It's only illegal for banks to process money for online gambling sites. They could get in trouble, not you. If asked about the wire say you do online consulting or something, nothing more.
