It used to be that people were reluctant to out player names they suspected of cheating, being bots, etc., unless they had solid evidence. Perhaps they were even too reluctant at times. Now it seems we've swung in completely the opposite direction, where people will throw out names on even the slightest suspicion.
I've been reluctant to get involved in stuff like this, because I think it's important that cheaters are identified, and it's tricky to know exactly where the line is as to what should be needed to be accusing people. But I'm pretty sure that just throwing out a list of names with nothing more to say other than "anybody out there that can confirm that these are real people playing?", which is clearly implying that the poster thinks they're not, is on the wrong side of the line. Plus, I think there are already about 37 other threads where bot speculation can be posted without starting yet another one - if you guys want to get any traction on identifying bots, you need to bring the evidence together, not spread it over a multitude of threads.
