Rumor was... ACR was running bots at the start? Or is that their bots that make new accounts and build up through freerolls? I just cant see anyone sane registering a 5 hour late reg for $0.50-$1.00 tournaments from the start.. Maybe they use bots to prime the tournaments?

How does this make any sense? They risk sooo much as a site with no reward, they'd be better off for them to just not have freerolls. Rumors aren't something you just pull out of your ass and call a rumor. They could have just lowered the amount of players needed to start if they had issues with people starting them. There are plenty of people who play for fun and would rather have some kind of minimal reward at the end rather than play chips (example: my wife registers these from the start)

i never have.. theres no point for me because by the time late reg ends.. youll get good hands and busted with people going all in with such a huge range during that time.. the chances of you starting at 10/20 blinds and end up at final table is rare..

It's kinda hard to take OP too seriously when he makes a new account just to post this, just sayin'

I don't doubt there's a few shady things going on in the freerolls but he should've followed up and checked to see if any of the accs were dumping money HU and identifying those account(s) or trying to figure out how they got it off-site...if any at all. Those doing the cheating can see this forum too, if they managed to see it you just gave them a warning to start covering their tracks and clear their money off if they haven't already. Problems like these are best discussed through PM anyway, not by making an account named ACRpolice and trying to make it seem like some huge scandal.

And you shouldn't expect WPN reps to post results here or anywhere else. All you can do is just wait and see if any of those accs in question are still playing. Tbh WPN could save themselves a lot of trouble and make freerolls available to depositors only. And also tiered freerolls for players who pay enough rake for that particular week/month. Instead of paying out cash, they should probably just pay out tourney tickets which would help increase traffic and support the GTDs.

There is a huge benefit for WPN reps to make public their findings regarding cheaters. By doing so it builds confidence with the players that they know they are being protected. By keeping everything behind closed doors there will always be questions and speculations on how much cheating is going on, it only increases the paranoia. Also, by getting the word out there that they are on top of things it will give cheaters second thoughts about using WPN as their choice of networks to try to cheat. Think about it, would you chose a site you thought was easy pickings or a site where you thought you might get caught. In my opinion the decision to keep quiet is the wrong one, let's have some insight please.
