LHE on Winning LHE on Winning

How do we get LHE to run on Winning? I don't understand why it is never going. Although traffic for the game is light overall it at least runs on other sites. I can anyways get a game on Bovada, but would much rather pay on Winning if given the choice.

I don't get it.

I don't understand it either. Carbon has far fewer players than WPN yet Carbon does have some LHE games running. And the LHE rake on WPN is as low as Carbon's, actually lower considering rakeback.

People have to sit down and start games! I occasionally check the FL lobbies and see nobody opensitting stakes I'm interested in (.5/1 or 1/2)...hell if I'm gonna try to start a game myself and wait for an hour just to satisfy my FL itch.

If someone is opensitting I might join and play some hands. Regs have to be willing to sit and wait if they want other players to join. You could even use this forum to arrange a time to play each week if you can find just a couple more posters who want to play some FL.

I tried to broach this subject recently. Unfortunately, it's not a priority.

One of the main problems here is that it is a hard game to "sell" to the masses.

If they just added in some mix games, even HORSE or 4-game, I think the traffic would be great. LHE by itself doesn't seem too popular nowadays.

I tried this last night at. 25/.50. Ended up getting two guys who hit and ran after picking up a couple of bets. I just gave up and focused on my Bovada tables.

Unfortunately no matter what site you play on, LHE always has some people dipping in for a quick H+R. As someone who wants to see more limit on ACR, I would try not to let that discourage people from starting games.

I'm willing to try to get games going if people want to coordinate in some fashion. I only have enough on the site to play. 25/.50. since I don't want to have to redeposit.

It's actually much more interesting to play than NL. To each his own.

I would play HOSE regularly if it was offered and ran. HORSE too although I prefer HOSE as razz seems to hate me lol.

Maybe it is harder to get a fish as the 2nd player entering. Mixed games, maybe the usa player base would have them running. Bitcoins also more or less. The mixed pack could better contain less for a start at least, containing what they have now, like hose plus nlh, plo. That is the only reason why i would come back playing there, at least till it turns out that the player pool is too small, though i may not mind playing very short or even heads up, but i dont play heads up all day till i get busto.

+1 to mixed games, I'd play some LHE too if it ran but I usually just see the same names sitting alone when I used to look.

2/4 and 5/10 lhe are running atm

If anyone wants to get a LHE game going sometime, let me know. It seems like a lot of players just sit down at different tables and don't play each other. I usually just dive right in and get the action started. I prefer 5/10 or 10/20, but am willing to play any stake below as well. I just really like the game. Would love to get a 6-max game going with you guys

Ignition ruined there games with a brutal rake increase so I shifted to Winning. LHE games are available, not many fish but with HUD/Rakeback a reasonable win rate is possible. I play 2/4 and these have been running and the rake at least in my small sample size is very good.

Hopefully a few of the not quite so good Ignition players will make there way to winning and help the LHE pool.

I once tried to organize an unofficial group of props to work the LHE games, but it failed because, basically, not enough people want to treat poker like a job and work for a living. Of course, that also describes the employment situation a good portion of the USA and Europe as well lol.

I think there is a great opportunity on this site for a group of 4-10 players to really make some bank (over time) in 2017 by creating games at set times. Simply sitting down and playing against each other long enough to attract rec players to the games. The key would be doing it consistently, on a schedule. I doubt it would take more than a month to see huge gains in LHE traffic and help bring about a self-sustaining series of games.

Of course, players would have to sacrifice a little by playing other good players until rec players joined. Factors like that could be mitigated though with some reasonable planning beforehand.

If any of you LHE players are interested, I'd be happy to help organize it again and see if it could be viable in 2017.

Definitely interested in this. Last year they had a limit tourney or two in one of their promo series. Be good to see it back again in the future ones, much different kind of style/strategy to play.

Stakes dependant I would be interested also

Start low and let it build. Easier to get players to move down for a game than it is to get them to move up.
