I'm sure WPN doesn't realize what they're missing by not having a solid Mac client; they've probably never thought about these things before as a company. Thanks for the very insightful post, pointing out that with no Mac client fewer people will be able to play. Your contribution is noteworthy and extremely informative.

So I believe this million dollar jackpot promotion is scheduled to end on the 15th and the million dollar spin has not been hit (please correct me if Im wrong). So does that mean a million dollar spin will hit by the 15th?
03-13-2017 , 09:24 PM
Nah. The probability remains the same for every spin. So no guarantee it hits or doesn't hit.

That.

Also, this promotion will be back at some point. Don't quote me, but I'm guessing we'll see it sometime in the summer.

Why aren't previous winners posted in the lobby of the cash games?

You hit a 6x 7.5% of the time, so...

How is the rake compared to stars spin and go's? @wpn reps
03-19-2017 , 07:59 PM
WPN rake is 6% for all buyins compared to between 5% and 8%.

WPN's VIP benefits, rakeback, and promos make them better (usually) in terms of effective rake.

Minimum Buy-In $2 now? That's a bit steep for blowing off some steam.
03-19-2017 , 09:03 PM
Yeah, that's the traditional lowest buyin when there isn't a promo running.

So you played <100 games and hit 2 6xs. Yeah, definitely solid evidence that they rigged the multipliers.

The frequency is so noticeable I stopped playing Jackpot and switched to 2.0.
Did you track your multipliers? Interested in actually posting proof? Do you even have a big enough sample to post proof? $50 payout is something at 10s, but it certainly doesn't mean you've played huge jackpot volume. Keep in mind, prizepools for 2.0 aren't publicly posted either.

Why does WPN have so many insane riggies? I'm starting to feel serious sympathy for the WPN reps here.

I can't lock this thread so all I can do is delete posts but take it to the poker is rigged thread if you want to continue

My only comment is that easier tracking of multipliers would help put this sort of discussion to rest. I was pleased to see it on the list of future updates that prize pool information will be included in hand histories.

To anyone who thinks the sites are rigged against them ask yourself one question, why would they chose you to rig things against? Are you that special and important that they would specifically chose you? It's more likely a case of arrogance and a sense that the world revolves around you than the site trying to rig the game against you.

how to disable sound when it is spin? I have no sound ticket in option but still makes sound for spin

People will always find something to complain about. If it's not multiplier distribution, it'll just move to some sort of setup/cooler distribution in high multi games only.
03-20-2017 , 04:13 PM
That's true; there's always going to be some unreasonable players out there.

There are sound reasons of logic that help to refute the typical RNG/deck rigging theories. A site makes they same profit regardless of who wins or loses particular hands/games. Such rigging would be very complicated to implement. The risk of detection versus the potential reward is a huge disincentive. The majority of players are reasonable and these types of explanations help to reassure them the game is fair when things are not going their way.

An inherent problem with lottery-style payouts (at any site) is that several of these logic-based arguments are weaker when talking about the payout distribution. For this reason, I think anything a site can do to provide more transparency is a benefit to the site by being helpful to reassure reasonable players that the game is fair, or in this case that the payouts are fair.

I also have a mac computer and was pretty pissed they got rid of it. I downloaded this program called virtual box which allows you to run a windows based computer through you mac. You have to download a version of windows to run along with that as well. It's kind of confusing. If anyone needs help let me know.
