I know there was some talk about revising the buy ins of jackpots... did that ever go anywhere or did it just die?
09-18-2016 , 02:34 PM
If I recall correctly, a few players suggested changes, mostly to bridge the gap between $2 and $10. Then it died.

$3,$7.5,$15,$30,$75...??

If a 'technology for stake mixing' appears that the CEO talked about on Thrash370's stream (that will allow a grinder to register for 2 or more stakes at once and seating him in the earliest game that starts), then the idea of bridging the gaps can be resurrected.

The partial recordings of the talk are:

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4

Phil's announcement of the technology starts @4:40 in part 4.

Another big news for jackpot players is that Phil is thinking about an 'SNG or jackpot series' (akin to an MTT series) that Max coined 'Tour de SNG' during the stream. It's @10:20 in part 4.

Instead of coming up with fancy names for their promotions, they should invest more time in trying to upgrade their servers and software client imho.

Maybe with just the interim solution he mentioned they'll be willing to revisit the idea of closer buyin levels. If they sort out true mixing, then I would definitely expect to see more levels.

The interim solution is going to be for the highest levels only ($25-40); only the final solution will allow to make lower levels denser.

Well, SNG 2.0 is going to have some modern graphics... just at the beginning Besides, we haven't seen the graphics of the variant of Rush poker to be released around January (according to Phil).

They should of made the PCPC Jackpot like a $5 buy in
09-28-2016 , 02:02 PM
I'd play a PCPC jackpot buyin $10-25. $1 the chance is just too low and too low stakes.

Played three $60 Omaha spins this morning after maintenance... $240 prize pool each. Won two of them, lost the third. Have not been paid any prizes yet. Support was unhelpful, supervisor was unavailable..

has anyone experienced this before?

P.S. ACR support is frustratingly CLUELESS. After clearly explaining my issue, the response was "multi table tournaments went down for maintanance and all players will be receiving a refund"....LOL.

What's the point of the $60s for 6 days only if the top prize theoretically would need 100,000 games started to hit?

Why does it matter? The 100,000 is a probability thing. The very first ever game spun could be a top prize, or a million of them could go off without hitting the top prize. The whole x/100,000 thing is just the probability of each multiplier coming up, not the actual number of how many of each multiplier will occur per 100,000 games.

Ive played more than 5k jackpots, and I don't recomend this site to anyone. Is full of bots, and as it seems, WPN want to keep them playing. They make 25/40s so reg fested, that takes away alot of the fun of the game. Also, bots never chop in jackpots, so gl when you hit one, because you'r about to go for max variance with those mofos.

Btw, mtts are the same. Why they don't allow to chop in mtts? Probably because it is full of bots, and bots never chop. So, to be more low-key WPN disables mtts chop.

PS: Already spoke with support about the bots stuff, gave a bunch of proofs they are bots (since i played thousands of games with them) and nothing was done. No refund and no ban to any bot. Its ridiculous. It only needs couple days grinding there and you'll see the truth.

Or because WPN and their developers are not really up to par and take a long time to implement changes that seem rather trivial at first.
