I think the sit n crush and beast formats encourage higher stakes players to play low stakes for points.this is bad for the game IMO. The high stakes players crush the fish which are the lifeblood of the game. Perhaps lowering the payouts up top and paying out more spots would be the answer. Perhaps doing a format like stars battle of the planets back in the day.I know most wont agree but the truth is the fish should be able to play a $3 tourney without having to play guys that make 6 figures a year playing poker.

There is a bit of a logic gap in concluding that any player hoping to win a top tier will necessarily have to cheat, because there is a person you assume is cheating to win both.

Also, with respect to multi-accounting, it seems illogical for two players to share an account with the intent of shipping top-tier in both SNC and Beast. Why not use the lower-risk route of one player doing SNC and the other doing Beast? The only benefit I see is potentially making the top VIP tier in less calendar time.

Finally, while I share some of the sentiment about incentives, the "this is not poker" line is old and tiresome. Furthermore, you can attain *very* good rewards without hitting the very top tiers of VIP/promos.

Me and thrash play the guy almost every day... it's nothing st8 gto/or bot'ish about his play. I'm sure something would have been brought to light a long time ago

Kind of defeats the point of open forums, if you just delete people's posts. I didn't say anything derogatory, inflammatory, or slanderous. So please explain.

Eh it's not really an open forum, this site is more like 1 big advertisement clothed in forum clothes. It's a vice forum and you can't even use cuss words like an adult let alone it's censored to the gills in other ways. It's a private entity and the owners do as they please.

Could be worse. One of the mods messaged me in private saying that he didn't like my signature and that I should take it down. I messaged him back asking if this was a forum rule or his personal preference. He said it was his personal preference. Anyways, he continued to go back and forth with me and then started hurling insults at me. Next thing you know, the same exact day 3 different mods comb through my previous posts and give me infractions for very old posts.

So yeah, this is not a public forum really. It's more of a good ol' boys club.

Hmm, yes I said that along with other verbiage in my post. I also said that implies does not mean he is a cheater. What I said was hardly slanderous seeing how this entire thread was based on the legitamcy of the player in question anyway. If you are going to single me out and delete my posts then you probably should delete the whole thread. That's not playing victim thats just logic. But I can accept that this isnt an open forum actually open to logical discussions, and leave you all to it.

Its an open forum when constructive things are discussed.
Too many discussions get out of hand or just ridiculous comments from people.
