How do I avoid getting Grimmed? How do I avoid getting Grimmed?

11-17-2016 , 08:41 PM
I've recently started playing on ACR and I keep having players sit to play against me to either only play their button (they get it first) or play a few hands and quit after their button. In either case I'm getting shorted a button in what would be fair play.

How can one predict where the button will go for the first hand of a table with:

a) a button already on the table? (does it just move one to the left?)

b) a new table with no button on it?

Grimers are grimy something should be implemented to avoid this from happening

you can play cash games as long or as short as you want whether that is 1 hand or 100 hands. There are no rules saying "everyone has to play a equal amount of buttons"

me personally i only grim on wpn cash games and my results are thanking me for it.

Just and FYI for those saying u can play as many or as few hands as u want, and i do not know wpn's policy, but it is against the terms of service on some sites. Just really hard to prove, and get them to do anything.

Stars says it is against tos, as it seeks to take an advantage of a game dynamic not having to do with actually level play.

The site seems so shady with players and hands. Finally uninstalled and requested a ban. Stay away. GL all

Both WPN and Ignition/Bovada have terrible software that is unreliable. It would be comedic for a network with such circumstances to enforce strict policies as Pokerstars does.

These 2 networks would go out of business if they started enforcing penalties on everyone who leaves the table after 5 minutes when half the time it's a problem on their end booting the player due to a disconnection.

I could see how these emails would go.

"We're sorry. Your account has been suspended due to leaving the tables too quickly. This is against TOS."

Player:

"I didn't leave. I got a message saying,"Player disconnected...attempting to reconnect." Then I was kicked off the table."

Site:

"You must have a problem with your connection. Regardless you are suspended. We're sorry. Would you like to make another deposit?"

tell them before things get too underway that u looked at their bio. Tell them that if they grim you, you will track them down and cut off their sacks with a kitchen shears.

HiDoes wpn have made at any point on this matter / table camping / siting out when the fish sit out, or as anyone tried to contact suport? It is getting out of hand at mid to high stakes everyone sit out every single time that the fish sit outs and no one is opening tables but if someone tries to open it he will a lot of times get grimmed or if someone joins a game that a weaker player just left he will pay his bb and everyone just sits out very next and table brake and guys pays bb only before table breaks...

I mean if all of this ok / the network dont cares I think every table will be 5 player siting out on every table very soon, but from what I have read in this thread it really looks the network is ok with this so I guess it will work like that in a very short time frame...

lol @ grimming being against terms of service when all the regs including their poster boy leatherass sitting out when the fish leaves. But yea single out the guy who only plays buttons.. Cant put one sin ahead of another imo

Do you lurk 2p2 all day just to spew bull**** and talk way out of school? This site is not "shady" at all, I have been doing business here for years with literally 0 problems. Acr does alot of nice things for the players including having this thread so you can slander them unjustifiably.

I appreciate ACR and the opportunity they give me. Shut up rigtard go back to the kiddie pool.
