This tournament is advertised as a 10$ R/A for 1,000 chips with a 6$ ADD ON for 5,000 chips at level 9. The add-on however was 10$ which is obviously a pretty big difference. The fact that the add on advertised as 6$ for 5k when a 10$ buy in gives you 1k chips, obviously that is going to play into your strategy. The tournament didn't meet the guarantee (by 50$), but obviously it would have been much more layover if they charged 6$ as advertised. I have my suspicions that they were worried it wouldn't meet the guarantee and did this. It really is the wild wild west huh?

(BETA) would probably mean the tournament was for testing purposes, and you should expect bugs if you are buying into any tournament marked as such. I've seen tournaments layover way more than $50 or even $500 so the thought of someone changing the addon just to cover a layover is just ridiculous.

I cant even change anything in a tournament once its started so even if i wanted to i couldnt.

Difference isn't huge but, to me it would make sense to credit everyone back $4 that purchased the add-on. If I go to the supermarket and pick something up marked at $6, but get charged $10 when I get to the register, I'd expect to pay what it is being advertised at. The cashier doesn't just say, "Couldn't change it even if I wanted to."

Can you specify what you mean by "comments". Im like 90% sure it did not say 10$ add-on anywhere in the lobby. only 6$ I checked it pretty good before I made the thread. I guess I should have screenshotted, but I am pretty sure you know it didn't say 10$ add on else or else you would have posted the lobby and not "comments"

I don't understand why there is so much hate in the forums....4$ and it was a typo, in everyone of those tournies the add ons are the same as initial buy in...then people turn it into a mud sling...lol seems like all losing players do is complain on the forums...how about be grateful for once and understand that they try and do their best

False advertisement seems to be going around with WPN. I got an email about a free nfl bet for playing cash games AND jackpot poker the other day then today they send an email saying it don't apply to jackpot poker making some overly used joke "Opps we pulled a Steve Harvey".

At that point they really should honor this promo for jackpot poker as well but this company don't care about being honest with customers.
