I read you only have 60 days before it expires, and you have to earn 27.5 AP for each $1 unlocked.

You earn 5.5 AP for each $1 in rake taken, so you unlock $1 in bonus every $5.50 you spend in rake...lol

So you have to get raked for $5500 in 60 days to get $1000 of it back, from what I understand....thoughts?

And in addition I hear the bonus negates your rakeback, so if you were getting 27% rakeback instead of the Deposit bonus you would actually be getting $1485 instead. Which if I'm understanding all of this correctly, the "deposit bonus" is actually a scam that will cost you money

From what I understand, the deposit bonus temporarily decreases your "rakeback" while you clear the bonus, but it still ends up being a net gain for you due to the extra $1 per $5.50 rake you are getting. It should result in a modest boost to your effective rakeback percentage while the bonus is clearing. I could be wrong though.

A couple corrections.

$1 in bonus for every $5 rake.

$5000 rake in 60 days to get the full $1000 bonus (not including SNC or Beast fees).

It does not "negate" your rakeback. You would be getting $1350 for rakeback without the bonus and $2080 with rakeback and bonus.
($5000 - $1000) x 27% + $1000 = $2080

Playing at the micros to start with so guessing I'd be lucky to clear half of that in 60 days...

$1000 deposit bonus is a hell of a grind unless you are already a BEAST/Sit N Crusher grinder.

1) Good thread. The bonus they offer here has always been beyond attainable for the vast majority of the player base. It would be nice if there was some kind of bonus people could actually clear with a reasonable amount of volume. And not just nosebleeds players, either. Let micro and small stakes players actually build a roll, too.

2) There's hardly ever a redeposit bonus on this network. Once again, it would be nice if they actually offered something that helped people build a roll.

I think I worded it wrong. I mean that if you are capable of topping the Beast list it should be no problem for you to clear $1000 deposit bonus.

I'm still seeing that with the 27% rakeback this site is the most competitive with rake, as well as has good game selection so I'll probably be taking the plunge, was just surprised when I did the math and realized I'd have to put $105,000 into play to clear the $1000 bonus...
