im the type of player that likes to play long hours and win big pots, while playing few hands, which is better suited for the likes of me? thnx

Hmm, i would have said elite until i found out you like big pots, then id suggest rb. To help me diagnose this better answer the following

1. Favorite disney movie?
2. Favorite color?
3. dog or cat?

thanks

For you, rakeback, I'm almost sure of it.

thanks brew, how does it work?

RB - you will recieve 27%

You can redeem daily your rakeback or let it save and redeem whenever you wish.

You can PM me your nickname and confirmation you want your one time switch and i can make it happen for you. Be sure of what you want as you only get the one time. Every poker players dream

thanks man, well, based on the previous prognosis, I guess ill do rake back, ill send you a pm later, just to be sure though so basically you get some of the rake back from all the pots you win basically? Is it just automatically applied to the account at a certain time per day ? thanks

and yes this past week is the one time ive been waiting for for the last 5 years haha, and it's all worth it. so thanks again.

I just switched from RB to Elite. If you grind alot at 25 NL or higher and are tight, the "dealt method" could favor you.

Not sure why OP was banned but this is my question as well.

I have not yet signed up for AmericasCardroom as I have not played poker in a few years (Pre-Black Friday)

I have talked about my situation before but I currently am on Long Term Disability after 4 back surgeries and a Seizure Disorder so I have plenty of time to play.

I would probably be spending about 8-10 hours a day (not continuously) in my recliner 4-6 tabling NL25. I am definitely a TAG (I miss my Money Bags Symbol from the old PokerTracker) Would it be better for me to do the 27% Rackback or the Elite point system since that is on the Dealt Method?

Thanks,
Seizures

If I remember correctly, the break-even point is roughly $1000 per month in rake. If you rake less than $1000 a month you are better off with rakeback, if you rake more, you're better off on the VIP system.

So how do you get hooked up with rakeback on this? I just started and made my first deposit.

As long as ACR continues to run tournament series which allow you to buyin with combat points, your almost certainly better of with the elite rewards program.

Contact support and ask to be switched. Note that it is a one-way switch and they do not let you switch back.

Isn't buying in with points a similar value to buying cash in the store? As far as I know, the relative value of VIP vs straight rakeback has more to do with how much you rake per month.

If you look at the bonus TB column that's your effective rakeback if you use your combat points to buy into tournaments versus cash. So buying into mtts generally better

The points for tournament entry is a much better ratio than points for cash in store.

Ah cool. Points entry for all MTT/SNG/JPP please.
