Windows Vista will be around as long Microsoft supports it and gives it monthly updates.

umm isn't the objective to grow the player base? doesn't preventing current/new players from playing on the site because they don't have a certain version of windows hurt the site? You don't really expect people to get a different version just to play on wpn do you?

It's unfortunate that you would not consider rolling this one back as i think there are a lot of problems with the software.

If this is not possible then I would advise these two things to be of utmost priority.

1. Get in contact with Holdemmanager/ pokertracker and help them with whatever they need to get tracking working again. A lot of regs will come back to help start these games if they can still track results even with the software problems.

2. Get in contact with table tamer. A large number of your regular players are using this software to make multi tabling easier.

It is in both your interests to get these apps working asap and should have precedent over most other things.

P.S. I like the idea of the Maximizer

All of this is why when I log in and learn something is new and improved, I grimace. Modern technology is too complicated for all but the most highly sophisticated to get right. And when unsophisticated folks start trying to change what is working well, all goes straight to Hades.

Roll it back? LOL, these guys don't have a clue how they ever got here. If it was planned that Vista (and XP) were no longer supported, you would think someone would have said something to the player pool, oh I don't know, 30 days ago.

Instead it's like, oops, our bad, we didn't know our changes would exclude those players. Idiots.

Update the client, alienate a lot of players on XP/Vista running machines...

Alienate those who use Hold'em Managaer/Pokertracker...

I, for one, can not afford a new PC currently to upgrade beyond Vista.

I sincerely was already considering pulling my roll of the site.
This will help tip the scale, not that this matters to the powers that be.

Was planning on playing quite a bit during Thanksgiving break.
Now, can't.

Your tone suggests a finality in this decision.

Please pass along what a great business decision this was to whomever necessary.

For what it's worth, this is coming from a player who has played just over 150k hands on your site of .05/.10 -> 2/4...

Paid almost 3k in rake.

I can't even imagine how many recreational players this has affected.
How many players woke up to not being able to log on...not access their accounts?
How many are right now freaking out that their money is now gone?

This is so unbelievable. So unacceptable.

Glad to see the message on the client that HH's for jackpots will be back on the 5th. Hopefully, there will be an update with PT4/HEM2 for HUD and table tamer as well. If we could get those back to working with this version and the maximizer also have a minimum buy in, that would be great.

Hey so i was working my way through my deposit bonus playing spins, then you guys do this... Are you able to extend the amount of time i have left as the games are unplayable at the moment as a result of the update.
