We'll be down for a couple hours today starting at 8 am ET. This is for a new, html 5 version of Jackpot Poker and the inclusion of a Jackpot Poker feature called the Maximizer.

This move is also in preparation for SNG 2.0, a mobile client, and other features coming inside the next 6 months.

Just some quick feedback.

Not loving the different format in JP poker -- I don't know if this is a trial or what, but it's not the same looking table as cash/MTT tables so lacking the uniformity. When having a table of JP and cash is looks like I'm having two different poker clients up. The hotkeys we're used to on the regular tables don't work, either.

The new Jackpot Poker interface is not loading for me in the client.

so does that mean that the new SNG 2.0 is 6 months out? reading between the lines here a bit, but is that a fair estimate?

After installing the update, my lobby window looks like this:



Only options are to minimize or maximize window - that's maximized. I'm on a yoga 2 pro and have had sizing issues with other apps because of my comps default screen resolution. Don't know if that's related. Any ideas on a fix? Can't navigate the client at all.

I have the same sizing issue since this update. Anyone else experiencing the same?

Did you play on the same machine before today? Do you have a 4K resolution monitor?

yes I have played before with no sizing problems. 3200 x 1800 resolution

I've also been playing on the same machine. Default resolution is 3800 x 1800.

I've managed to play one game.
I'm heavily disappointed.

Main issues:
- HUD doesn't work
- I wasn't able to type bet size
- dealer button is too small to be sure in which position you are
- chips are writen in xx.xx format. So you start with 500.00 chips

I really believe you should think about reverting tables back to previous version.

small session for me and i did not like it either. granted hotkeys aren't working which should get fixed but as mentioned, small dealer button. often times i did not know my position whereas in the past the only time i would potentially mess up knowing my position was when there was a dead blind(i believe this happened to me on more than one occasion) So, noting that.

did not like the cards as much. one guy i was playing with said that as well. seemed clunkier and less user friendly. this could change. I will try to keep updating if i play more JPs

In addition to what's already been posted:

-No hand history?
-Games not listed in tournament history report?
-No tournament number (in window title, or anywhere that I noticed).
-No replayer.
-No way to mod cards/tables/themes.
-No way to set a minimum buyin in the Maximizer.
-No observation mode.



On the plus side, I like that you can set which format you are registering for (I misclick registered incorrectly several times).

Few more observations...
- 30 seconds time for every decision is too long. Same goes for 60s time bank
- no option to check your opponent or to give him a tag
- no sit out or disconnect notice

dead in the water

"The procedure entry point PowerClearRequest could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll."

Looks like all XP/Vista clients will be dead. The PowerClearRequest function requires Win7 at a minimum. When Bovada did this, at least they notified their customers a month in advance that it was coming.

When separating chat box out you can not resize it.
