I'm relieved right now that I DIDN'T win a seat to the millions. I hope the servers hold up over the weekend.

I just heard on betcoin that wpn servers will go offline in a few minutes, for about 30 minutes one last time for some updates to make sure everything is really fixed, don't panic if they do this.

Going to play myself today starting around 3 PM EST, I jope the bull**** is over.

Yeap, they must have announced it before this because betcoin staff was in chat there saying the wpn servers will shut down in 10 minutes or so for about 30 minutes for one last update to make sure everything is everything. Can't get mad for them fixing things. This is suppose to be the last time.

My MTT was on the bubble, site goes down without notice. Ugh. I was feeling good about stability today too.

That might have been better, even doing it an hour or two ago, but atleast it didnt happen at like 3 pm est when the tourneys really pick up for the day.

If they are not down more than 30 minutes it should just come back and restart from the point it was yet, not sure what they will do.

I'm sure anyone registered for a tourney that would have started in the down time will get refunded, they seem to have that part down. They do refund buy ins it seems like.

Ya I mean this is one of the slower parts of the schedule, if they just figured out they needed to restart at like 11 or something it makes sense. Here's to hoping it fixes up well, I'm gonna chill out for a while then probably play if everything looks good here.

this is what happens when you run hyperaggressive promotions without bothering to upgrade your servers, they need to fire their IT staff immediately.

its possible the site is underwater desperately trying to revive the company, maybe they couldnt afford server upgrades. whatever the case, DO THINGS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME STOP HALF-ASSING YOUR CUSTOMERS

at least WPN is still paying out faster than any other american site and the software is top notch when its running smoothly, hopefully they sort it out and then run another major promotion before summer.

TOurnament director came into another thread don't feel like backtracking. Said that frezouts whre going to be added this was 3 months ago or so. Not one freezeout rounament just 5 hour rentrys so patheticly lame.
