I was just registered for 10 $15 double or nothing's I was refunded all of them and I don't see any available in the lobby did they get rid of them because of the collusion?

i really hope everyone of the cheaters accounts is currently closed. i see DONs for PLO8 only, which surely ppl wouldnt attempt to collude in. I think being a PLO game it would be a little harder and the fact there is 4 cards/split pot game but who knows.

I'm not sure where you see that. They announced that they were going to do this months ago because this is what players wanted. The only reason that they had 6max DONs was because the player pool was too small so support larger formats. As the player pool grows, hopefully they will eventually move up to 10max DONs.

Surely it is just a coincidence that they changed the DoNs unannounced at the same time all of the reports of suspected colluders are coming out. And a small prediction by myself, IF a rep from WPN even makes an announcement about the format change there will be no reference that collusion was a reason for the change even though everyone knows it was. If the player pool was big enough to support 8 man DoNs then it would be big enough to keep the 6 mans also. You think WPN would pull them if that was the case and lose a game that can generate more rake due to the shorter time frames? Clearly you have some personal agenda here, you even said yourself you are a cash game player so you really have no dog in this fight.

First of all, I've never said that I was exclusively a cash game player. I've very specifically said that I do play DONs. I can assure you that I have played many more DONs than have you. You constantly misrepresent what I say.

Secondly, your assumption that because WPN can now support 8man DONs they can also concurrently support 6man DONs, is so absurd it isn't really worth my time arguing with you about it.

This change was announced before your time here at 2+2 so you should stop acting like you are such an expert about things you know nothing about. This is something many of us have been asking for for a long time.

That you find it so hard to make a post to someone with a differing viewpoint without name calling, pretty vividly shows the level of your thinking.

And do you really think WPN would make a change like this without making a big announcement and beat its chest if traffic increase was the reason? There would be a big announcement with fireworks and balloons and some rep saying what a great job they are doing. No, the reason this change was made like this is because they are trying to fight collusion without it looking like there is a collusion problem.

Rolling them out in the middle of the day on a Friday seems a bit hasty. If it was scheduled why not just wait until the conclusion of this weeks SNCLB?

If you read 2+2 before creating an account it certainly doesn't show.

WPN has made a lot of changes to the DONs and they have never once made an announcement about them. They've previously had 12max, 10max and 8max DONs all in about a little over the past year and have always changed the formats unannounced.

So now you are making some kind of vague accusation against me. It doesn't surprise me at all that you would pull something like that out of your ass.

And what would like them to say exactly when they removed those formats? Sorry guys we don't have enough players to support these games. If what you are saying is accurate then that would be a positive message that the site would want to play that up, removing games is the exact opposite. What do you think they are going to do when the jackpot sngs are ready to go, you think they are simply just going to put them in the lobby without a big production?

While I don't mind this switch is it really going to prevent collusion if the network takes the same stance as it has in looking the other way forever?

They can have 8 mans, 10 mans, even a 50/50 format and without doing anything it will be nothing different.

I wish they would just have policed the 6 mans better eliminating the waste confiscating the cheaters funds which hopefully would send a message that this type of activity isn't allowed around here.

If they would have done this more word would get out and people would be less inclined to cheat, collude, and soft play with their buddies (or multi account cheat over different computers using a vpn or 4g phone type internet for one connection).

The advantage about the 6 mans is they fill up quicker which is key for a smaller network and only time will tell how the new 8 mans will fill but I'm sure volume will be down and it might be tough to get games going during off peak hours.

Change could be good but if they don't get rid of cheaters and perm ban the guys doing it before they went to an 8 man format then the point of this will be moot.

I never said that those games were running concurrently. They weren't. If you've read these forums you'd know the reasons that I and a lot of other posters have requested the 8 or 10max DONs.

I said that you were trying to pressure the site into giving you money without even making any claims that you had actually lost money as the result of collusion. What you were doing is exactly what people filing nuisance suits do.

They have the preferred seat for 8 mans option in the software too I see so that is a good thing and they probably didn't need to make the PLO8 DONs 8 max imo but oh well.
