It did, i just took the screenshot in HM2 before the bets went in.

also this ****in rake is ridiculous

LOL nice, was wondering how the pot only got to 40 cents. Ya the rake is pure rape when you factor in how competitive the games are at 2nl lol. Seems like a lot of regs are stuck in that rake trap. Surprisingly decent play from the regs at that level and they make me their bitch lol.

newb questions:

can u.s. players play on this site?
what are the HU SNG lobbies like -- full?
what are payout times/options?
07-04-2015 , 07:22 PM
yes, not sure about HU games, checks usually take like 2 weeks tops(first check of the month)

the ones after that per month usually come a bit quicker

best of luck to mr americana on his 25nl shot

I'll see you there soon

I play occasionally. hurrryup denies me action saying I hit and ran vs him once but really he's just scared. slowroll him for me please.

Haha, noted. I haven't gotten the chance to play hurrryup yet. Seems like most players aren't willing to play for long periods of time, even when winning.

I've been breaking even/slightly losing over my first thousand hands or so. Not a big deal. People make some interesting plays, but overall the play seems relatively solid. Not sure if it's just variance over an insignificant sample or if rake is really prohibitive at these stakes.

Haha, why thank you!

From what I understand, rake is 5% with value returned through the rake race and BBJ. I'm not sure why people are complaining about high rake--it seems standard with extra value. Combined with rakeback these games should be beatable for a decent WR.

You will need a really high win rate to overcome the rake. Conventional wisdom in the hunl forums is to just grind husng until you're at a bankroll for 50nl. I still think its beatable but mostly its just practice. 6max 10nl is a clown show if you want to build a roll. 25nl looks soft as well but I'm still grinding up for a shot.

Thanks, I'll give that strategy a shot.

10nl looks soft overall but I can see how the grind would be long, tedious, and high variance considering you're not winning much at showdown versus 80% of the population.

I never liked husng so never spent much time looking. I think everyone migrated to jackpots for whatever reason. Successful marketing campaign by the poker sites and husng.com or whatever.

Yea I agree heads up is a lot more interesting than grinding 6max. But it works both ways, getting god moded by a fish heads up is probably the most tilting thing that can happen in poker.

Also theres plenty of fun regs at 10nl. One guy in particular is on a lot and has something like a 20% fold to 3bet, always floats to the river in position and bets his entire range when checked to. Or maybe he only does it vs me but its hilarious.

Yeah jackpot poker for whatever reason seems to be picking up a lot of steam, my initial assumption was it was just pure gambling but I guess there is an edge to be exploited

I don't understand, is this for a specific type of game?

I was told total rake from cash games was 5%, no additional deductions, looks like low-stakes SNGs have the same 1/20 BI rake.

That was from 5NL. Just noticed that addition deduction while hand reviewing last night. Only meant it seems like a shxt ton of rake for about 20k hands at that limit. Maybe I'm just complaining not sure.

Hey people annoy me when I'm playing. Have just learned to quit for awhile instead of tilting off stacks when it happens lol

Hey guys, veteran lurker first time poster.

Figured I'd finally register on 2+2 now that im logging a lot of hands online...

tryna save money for school so I'm micro-grinding to keep myself away from the local B&M and improve my game. Mainly multi'ing 4 5NL tables and looking to take a 10NL shot in a couple months.

Notice a couple familiar screen names on here so it'll be cool to get to know who I'm playing with and give you guys the opportunity to thank me for the increased winrate
