Can't open client after new update-file missing Can't open client after new update-file missing

After the new files downloaded, I got this system error: the program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Anybody else have this? I'm on Windows 8. A quick Google search suggests I'd have to download a bunch of crap to fix this and uninstall some other stuff and do some windows updates...sorry not doing all that.

Thanks for letting me know. I guess I'll stick to betting baseball today instead of playing poker.

Has anyone tried to see if this happens with BCP or another skin? ACR doesnt work but Betcoin doesnt seem like anything is wrong and I can see people playing on WPN.

I am unable to install the windows updates to fix this problem. Will WPN be fixing this issue and if so when?
