Blackchip poker withdraw issue Blackchip poker withdraw issue

03-18-2017 , 02:25 AM
Hi, I have received a cheque from blackchip poker few months ago, but when I tried to clear it through my local bank by means of cheque collection, their bank said that I need to open a bank account in canada in order to clear it. Since I live in asia, I just can't do it. I have contacted blackchip poker many times but they just ignore it. I would like to seek your advise on how to get back my money? thx

You have a thread WTD created for cases like this. Its called players issues. Post there.

1) Use bitcoin in the future.
2) Open a bank account at a different bank. A large bank that is accustomed to handling international transactions is recommended. Deposit the check into that account. If you are in Asia, perhaps HSBC is available.
3) Use bitcoin in the future.

Thanks guys for your advice, and I just found that you are originator of the withdraw thread. With regard to point 2 suggested, yes I did clear it through a small bank. Since the cheque was issued last november, does it have a cutoff date?

redirecting new people to the correct spots to post is helpful as they will learn their way around the forum. Don't be a douche nozzle that calls someone a douche for helping.
