Anyone else have this issue:
Quote:
Your recent cash out request -------- in the amount of $800.00 USD has been canceled and the funds returned to your DigitalExchange account.

Reason (s):

Before requesting your withdrawal, you must verify your account by sending us a copy of your ID and utility bill.
It appears that your account is missing the authorization documents for the following cards:
Visa: **** **** **** 0000
As a reminder, the following is required:
Copies front and back of the card
Please send this to cashier@DigitalExchange.eu to your earliest convenience.
I'm just trying to do a bitcoin withdrawal, why do they need my ID and utility? Is it to confirm my identity?

Yep. Pretty standard on all accounts if you have never verified your account. Sometimes you can get it waived if you talk to caht, but it's also just really easy to fill the stuff out.

How many confirmations does the transaction have on the blockchain? You should probably contact support about it.

Still 0/3. Is there a way to directly contact blockchain support?

Blockchain works just fine if you increase the miners fee when sending. That said, there are other wallets that automatically adjust the fee when sending. I believe Mycelium is one of them.

To everyone using bitcoin, I really recommend the wallet "Electrum" (electrum.org)

Make sure "dynamic fees" and "replace by fee" is enabled (if your transaction gets stuck with 0 confirmations for a while you can increase the fee and rebroadcast it).

Has anyone ever dealt with customer service of coinbase? They take days upon days to return emails.

Ugh, got a new phone and thought the QR was backed up, was not. Now, I can't access my wallets due to the 2FA verification. Blockchain takes a week to remove, and Coinbase doesn't have the option, the link for "code not working" is a bad link, and the info to remove 2FA involves ... logging in. Their support hasn't answered in 48 hours.

Any good alternatives?

In My post directly above yours I mentioned having the same issue with coinbase. I've only gotten 2 responses to my emails in 2 weeks of sending them emails.

Yeah, that's why I'm looking for alternatives.

Still there for me.

I just made a Neteller deposit. Could that have caused Neteller withdrawal method to display and Bitcoin to disappear?

I put this in the other thread. Hopefully you find it useful.

The network is overloaded. Last week a fee of 120
satoshis per byte would get a reasonably quick confirmation. Earlier this week it needed to be 180.
Now it's 390. You can see fees and estimated confirmation time here:

https://bitcoinfees.21.co

Also if you are ever waiting on a transaction, just send those unconfirmed coins to another address of yours with a higher fee. That will get both transactions confirmed. It is called child pays for parent. Or if you don't want to send it anywhere else you can use the viabtc transaction accelerator.

The hard problem is waiting on a slow transaction that you are *receiving*. The landscape has been shifting a bit and hopefully WPN's processors stay up to speed and use whatever fees are necessary for quick transactions.

There's no need to wait. Use the viabtc accelerator or just send them to another address of yours with a higher fee.
