the reason why is because circle/coinbase r wary of gaming transactions, so blockchain provides one layer of insulation

if u do too many wpn > circle/coinbase transactions directly, ur account will be flagged and eventually shutdown
ugh, sorry. i was thinking coinbase and blockchain were interchangeable but it seems circle/coinbase are interchangeable

"sell bitcoin" on the left panel of your account homepage

What are the fees usually? I ended up paying 12$ in fees for a 400$ btc withdraw

My friend chopped sunday million thing for 100k
hes been trying to cashout via bitcoin.
first one went smooth... the cashout limit through bitcoin was 50k at this point
he requested for 30k he had money in bitcoin acct within 2 days.
after that
they've been rejecting his cashout requests without any clear exaplanation to why.
his cashout requests in the amounts of 30k,20k,10k has been rejected multiple times.
Also the cashout limit has been decreased from 50k to 10k for some reason.
now they r telling him that cashout requests has been rejected multiple times because he has to get new bitcoin address and requests cashout on that address.
Has anyone else experienced this?

if thur asking for a new address, just give them a new address

could just be a security process and keeping cashouts spread over multiple addresses due to the large sum

Never had to request nearly that amount but sounds standard for large amounts. Getting a new address is pretty much always simple, you shouldn't have to make a new account or wallet or anything.

in your friends bitcoin wallet he will have the option to "regenerate new address," thats all he has to do

That is new if it's actually their policy now. Live chat has been known to, erhm, say things that are not factual from time to time though.

Did you get this yet?

In Block Chain,
he went to Receive Money -> New Address and got the new address.
he requested cashout for 20k again and it was declined AGAIN for like the 7tih times.
He goes on live chat and the rep tells him that he needs to contact Blockchain to make a new address.

I deposited using my debit card. I have since received a new debit card and destroyed my old card so I can't send a copy of the debit card now obviously. Now I am attempting to withdraw. I have contacted support who told me I need to sign a voucher recognizing all of the charges I have made with them. I have now requested this voucher 3 times, but nobody will email this form to me. What should my next step be?

I'm waiting on a BC withdraw from betonline atm. It's around 800, im dumping the ful to blockchain, but when I move it to circle i'm going to do it in similar increments as the deposits. I usually deposit the min in increments, so I'm going to do the same thing the other way. Think this is a good idea as opposed to just moving the full amount to circle? Definitely looks inconsistent and therefore sketchy that way

Wrong thread, this is bitcoin. Try PMing wpn rep on here if you don't get the form from support in a reasonable amount of time.

I don't think that's necessary 800 isn't an amount that's going to raise any red flags but do whatever you feel comfortable with.

I created a circle account recently. Majority of my bitcoins are in my online wallet. I also created a coinbase account a while back but never used it either. I would like to sell some bitcoins using circle since there is no fee at all compared to coinbase which is 1 percent.

Can someone tell me if $300 is the max a week one can withdraw from circle to bank account? I use bank of america. I hear people mention you can get that limit raised to $3000 a week with verification documents. What documents are these? Is it basically bank account information? I had to do that with coinbase where they did a test deposit i believe and then i had to confirm the amounts then after that i got verified. However i believe thats just coinbase verification. I would like to know how to increase the limit to sell bitcoin from circle to bank account. Someone had mentioned if your weekly limit is only $300, then keeping a lot of btc in circle is basically useless then since you can't cash it out?

How long does it take to get that $300 limit to increase to $3000? And what verfication document is needed? I'm assuming just your bank account that you want to be paid with and then confirm the test deposits? I assume one doesn't have to wait a long time to get increased limits?

Another question. I created a circle account then had the email to confirm my email address. I did this. I then logged into my email recently and saw another email message from circle that says

This is 100% legit and not a phishing attempt right? Looks exactly the same as my email confirmation email that was sent few day before. I didn't check my email for few days then saw this email and pretty sure its legit but just want to make sure. It wouldn't make sense that it's a phishing attempt since i got this email the next day correct?

Look at the sender of the E-mail.. Anything @circle.com is legitimate by them and this is worded as they would word it.

Whats the difference between withdrawing btc from circle to debit card vs checking account? Doesn't really make sense if debit card is free and instant and checking account takes 3-5 days and is free. Because aren't both methods well adding money to your checking account? Thus both are ACH transfers?

Also do most of you keep your currency balance in circle USD or change it to bitcoin? I did a very small test transfer from my electrum to circle and was surprised it showed usd amount as oppose to btc... until i found out you can actually have either a usd currency or a bitcoin currency.

So let say i transfer 250 dollars worth of btc from electrum to circle. I then withdraw it to my bank account. I will receive 250 dollars in few days. However if i keep my balance in btc... let say i send 250 dollars worth of btc to my circle wallet. It will show the amt of btc worth 250 on it. However few days later... let say the amt of the btc is worth 230 for example. Now let say i want to withdraw it to my bank account. Is the moment i press withdraw to my bank of america... it will show the usd amount? Thus no matter what matters in few days with btc fluctuations, it has no effect on me since it counts the moment i click request withdraw?

However, im curious if most of you here who use circle keep it in usd or bitcoin currency. Im guessing almost all of you change it to bitcoin? Surprised usd is the default.
