I just completed an ACR withdrawal using bitcoin, and I highly recommend it. There was no messing with checks or traveling to a bank, and I had my money from ACR into my bitcoin wallet in about three hours.
First I submitted a cashout request from ACR to my blockchain.info bitcoin wallet for $600.00 on 9/16/15 at 3:02 p.m.
I received $595.79 worth of bitcoin from ACR: 9/16/15 at 6:15 p.m.
As you can see, I initially lost a couple of bucks during the transfer from ACR, but I made it up later when I sold bitcoin to Circle because their bitcoin prices are higher than the usual going rate.
I had already set up an account at circle.com and linked it to my checking account, so I decided to send 2 bitcoins from my blockchain wallet to Circle at 7:20 p.m. (2 btc at current price of $227.50 each at that time, according to
http://preev.com/btc/usd = $455 total value). I left the rest of my btc in my blockchain wallet for future use.
The first blockchain confirmation was received at 7:30 p.m., second confirmation at 7:50, and third at 7:52. The 2 coins then appeared in my Circle account around 8:00 p.m.
I then sold those 2 bitcoins to Circle at their going rate, which was $230.33 per coin at the time, so then I had $460.82 in my account (almost six bucks more than what I sent).
I then used Circle to send that money to my checking account, where they say it will appear in 3 to 5 business days, but it usually happens sooner than that. I wouldn't be surprised if it hits my checking account today or tomorrow.
I am so happy ACR offers BTC withdrawals. It's part of the reason I choose to play there.
