How connected is betcoin to the WPN network? Can anyone shed some light on this for me

They share tournaments, that's all, don't play there.

Terrible management, terrible customer service, if there is issues on WPN they are awful to deal with. If you play anything besides tournaments they have no traffic.

Technically speaking, they have no connection to WPN. WPN stands for the Winning Poker Network. Betcoin is not a part of WPN, it is a part of WTN. The Winning Tournament Network. Betcoin only shares tournaments with Winning Network, not cash games.

I also concur with the assessment that they are a poorly run company and there is really no good reason to choose them over ACR, BCP, True, Ya, etc.

I used betcoin from march-july of 2016, quickest bitcoin cash outs out of all WPN skins. Also offer best rakeback program out of all WPN skins. Customer service can be a headache, but they always did their job when needed.

I can agree with Gedge. Their cash outs are extremely fast. Tournaments are the same as any of the other networks. And it seems as tho their cash games are really soft. Easy money.

I played on betcoin and WPN and currently play on betcoin and swc exclusively, but I only do it because I'd rather have my balance in bitcoin than USD and their rakeback program seems to be worth more in the long run (but currently I only have 20% rakeback on betcoin).

I've had no problems with either the customer service or cashouts.

if you read the Betcoin thread at BitcoinTalk you read some negative things (i.e. not paying a jackpot casino win and kickbacks for upping the brand name)... however I have played there for a couple years, and never had an issue, and done hundreds of cashouts without a hitch

there is virtually no action at cash games and they charge prodigious rake

Havent played on betcoin in about 2ish years, when they first started. I have to say I have never dealt with such a level of incompetence from a poker room. From bogus claims to down right stealing from players. Check out the bitcointalk forum and you will see details.

Its beyond me why anyone would chose that skin over any other given they all accept btc

Yeah they're support is a joke but it really is the best rakeback u can get out of anywhere and the players there are lol when u do get action

Cashout speeds are the nuts, but there's enough sketchy stuff about them (see bitcointalk, for example) that I'd recommend eating the extra 24-48 hours on cashout and playing on a bigger WPN skin.
