At the moment ACR will be the only skin with Mac Client.

Can you tell us the reasoning behind this? Because after all it's no rocket science on a network once you get the initial skin taken care of and mostly requires an adjustment of branding only.

Thats the way it is right now! Just letting you guys know, ACR will be the only brand with Mac Client, hopefully within the next 2 weeks it wont be Beta.

Theres a pretty major bug for tournaments.

In a tournament, when a player switches tables, the player has to be wait until they get the BB to be in a hand. This screwed me multiple times today. I am assuming it is set to a default of 'wait for big blind' but that makes no sense for tournaments.

Let me know if this is a bug or something I can fix on my end.

Thanks

Crisp: The switch table bug is fixed in the new version that will be available in the next upload. The upload was planned for the 6th, but it must be pushed back now for reasons out of our control.

I will give a date here when I have the info, but it should be the 2nd week in January.

Will the official release provide better hand history files for Poker Copilot on the Mac?

ACR seems to create a hand history file here and there that Poker Copilot can't read. When this happens Copilot either (a) stops updating the HUD or (b) the HUD disappears. Sometimes a restart of both apps solves it, sometimes not.

Poker Copilot tells me they have shared bugs with you.

Thanks!

Bovada has a few thousand Mac users that will switch in a heart beat if you
just release working Mac software. You need beta testers message me. As we are all sick and tired of Bovada's Bull Sh(t!

Overall the beta client is working well for cash tables. I'd say it is also 80% reliable with the Poker Copilot HUD.

It looks like the bugs mentioned above are tournament related.

Also, since the mac app is built in Adobe Air it is a bit of a battery drain when playing on a laptop.

Damn i forgot about that. Adobe Air is a death sentence. Have worked with it before and it has never ever lasted for any length of time on any app it was used on. DAMN
DAMN DAMN How could they be so stupid.
S*it !!!! i was so looking forward to playing on ACR.

Steve from Poker Copilot here.

As of our most recent update, we're pretty happy with our HUD for ACR on Mac. There are still some occasional problems either at our end or ACR's end, but as we get issue reports, we've been fixing them as soon as we can. We are always keen to get issue reports directly from within our software ("Help" -> "Report an Issue...").

There is one pretty nasty ACR Mac bug with hand history files, but we've put in a work-around when reading the hand history files: sometimes the hand history shows multiple people with the same hole cards. Here's an example:

------ Summary ------
Pot: 2850.
Board: [5c 2h 10h 5s 6d]
Player copilot shows: Two pairs. 10s and 5s [10s Kc]. Bets: 1355. Collects: 0. Loses: 1355.
Player carfire shows: Two pairs. 10s and 5s [10s Kc]. Bets: 0. Collects: 0. Loses: 0.
*Player Poker4USAcom shows: Three Of Kind of 5s [5h 8c]. Bets: 1355. Collects: 2850. Wins: 1495.
Player sweetorgasm shows: Three Of Kind of 5s [5h 8c]. Bets: 0. Collects: 0. Loses: 0.
Player M8 shows: Three Of Kind of 5s [5h 8c]. Bets: 80. Collects: 0. Loses: 80.
Player goldnick24 shows: Three Of Kind of 5s [5h 8c]. Bets: 20. Collects: 0. Loses: 20.
Player undertgun shows: Three Of Kind of 5s [5h 8c]. Bets: 40. Collects: 0. Loses: 40.
Player dbcooper5 shows: Three Of Kind of 5s [5h 8c]. Bets: 0. Collects: 0. Loses: 0.

Props to Poker Copilot for fantastic support, BTW. They seem to be really great developers.

Preach!!

I'm one person who is switching to ACR tomorrow. Bovada's latest update has made it unplayable. Furthermore, they seem to not care enough to fix the issue fast enough. I gave them my final farewell and cashed out a few days ago. I also told them that the only way I'll come back is if their software ever becomes as reliable as it was last year and I get a great deposit bonus for my inconvenience.

ACR here I come. Don't really like the idea of non anonymous tables but I'll be one of the hud using regulars on ACR for the foreseeable future. Guess I'll get Poker CoPilot while i'm at it.

So ACR is reg infested, and all the regs are moving there from Bovada due to the update, leaving Bovada's player pool as primarily just the fish. Yeah I think I'll just stay on Bovada but thanks guys lol.

You are welcome and good luck ^^

Bovada is reg filled too you just don't see the player names to see it. For the most part, even the regs on ACR are terrible.

Fair enough but almost every table you'll find 1-2 fish. On ACR that's a herculean task. I guess really the only difference is that you won't get fat value from fish. Either way if you play better than villain post flop you will have a healthy win rate.
