anyone else been having problems re entering MTTs once busting once? every time I try it says client crash
03-10-2017 , 03:41 PM
yea it happens to me every time. also it sits me out hands, deals some cards face down and some face up on flop,t,r, stops dealing me cards late in mtt's. it's really frustrating. after my 7th call to them they finally told me they had issues w macs but before that they were trying to blame it on my connection. ACR=Junk.

I sent them screenshot and have been in contact with them every day for 8 days. At first they blamed my connection but on the 7th day they finally admitted to having mac issues.

I'm convinced they don't give a **** cause the screen shot didn't manifest in any changes.

I should've came here first and read all the posts before I deposited on ACR.

Go to your Applications folder. Right click on AmericasCardroomPoker. Click "show package contents". Click "Content" then "MacOS" and double click on on the executable file. It should make another one with "32" at the end of it. Double click that one and now it should run.

FAIL
This didn't work for me at all. Wasn't able to get to deposit screen on either firefox or mac. Did a p2p transfer. played my first trny and I couldn't see the cards. They barely know what they are doing there. Will send the money back to my friend (-$11 trny fee) and keep looking out for a macintosh room.

Don't listen to the above poster, the network he is suggesting is known for being the scummiest of all networks that don't flat out steal your money.

That's what ACR said too. They say purchase a windows emulator. Always a bad sign when a company has to refer you out to a third party product to in order for thier software to run proper.

These are the issues I had

-would automatically fold my hand

-would sit me out (frequently_

-would not give me the option to fold/check/raise

-would deal the flop cards down and the turn and river up

-free card spin not available (had to contact chat)

-called over a dozen times to speak with Grace (supervisor) when they said she'd be there but a response never came to fruition

-took 7 calls to ACR for them to explain they have mac issues

-instead of putting effort into fixing mac software (it's been years) they tried to blame the issues on my connection

ACR is the worst software and company in any industry I've ever dealt with.

Moved your post here and deleted your other posts bumping year old unrelated threads. Might I suggest http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/21...ssues-1658129/ Winning_TD really tries to help and will look at your problems.

Not a story just facts. Your advice is free and is worth that price.

Thanks but i solved the problem by using other sites. I just want other mac users to know what they are getting into before they decide to deposit. And if they do deposit before coming here first (like I did) then there is a resource for this existing issue.

You can always use parallels on your mac to make the windows version work. That is your best bet. While I love playing on ACR, their "beta" mac client is absolute garbage.

But like I did, recommend just buying a cheap windows laptop strictly for playing poker.

OK so mac client sucks for everybody. Just making sure. Messed with the filter in tourney lobby. Big mistake now nothing shows up even after turning filter off. Even closed and reopened program still nothing.

ACR has been running fine on my iMac but now my Rewards Tab won't show up.

Anyone have this problem?

Is anyone having success with the Mac client? I see a lot of negativity in this thread, and perhaps I'm mistaken but it seems that WPN Rep no longer participates in the thread?

Could be a sign that they've lost their Mac developer and that the client is no longer being actively developed...
