Same here, and I have emailed them about it and it sounds like basically nothing is being done. I haven't been able to access my medal bonuses or anything...

Last night all Winning poker skins i have where flagged by my AVG anti-virus as being a trojan horse.SCGeneric, i went to anti-virus and removed all 3 from my vault and "allowed threats" i then tried to open up ACR and nothing happened, i somehow ended up deleting and reinstalling all 3 skins (ACR/BCP/Truepoker) and still they're not working, sometimes AVG pops open and asks if i want to "allow it" or not which i always do as i'm assuming it's a false warning (i hope). After i click on "allow it" and click on the desktop icon to open up any of the 3 rooms i also get a message on my laptop saying "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. " I'm not that great with computers and i'm so confused as to what is the problem is or how to resolve it and was wondering if any1 could help steer me in the right direction and to try and resolve this issue as i've emailed ACR/BCP and Truepoker and i don't seem to be getting anywhere as i only received 1 email from truepoker saying to "allow threat" via my AVG which i did and to make sure my flashplayer was updated which it was and still none of them will open up? I have no problems with any poker site but these 3 and it happened last night when i tried to open them up.

I'm on a mac too I just message support once a day and have them spin the card or whatever since my rewards tab is blank. They do not seem to mind and I have been able to get my bonus this way, even thought its only been around 2 bucks a day.

How is the mac client these days? Any improvements to it? I have a very nice imac sitting at home gathering dust and would love to use it if ACR made improvements to the mac client.

I recently installed it on my Mac Pro desktop and it has been running great for the past few weeks. Only thing i've noticed is a minor lag but that hasn't hindered any games. As stated above the rewards tap isn't loading correctly but live chat support and they will spin your bonuses.

Just bought a new macbook, downloaded america's cardroom but everytime I click on the app to open it, it immediately shuts down by itself. Any suggestions on how to fix?

Disregard, looked back in this thread and figured it out.

Opened the app for the first time in a while on my mac. It appears that every time I try to open a second cash table that table freezes before I can even play a hand. The app keeps asking me to approve sending an error report (which I have done).

Is this a common thing now?

It is not only cash tables - any time last night that I tried to open a second table the second table stopped moving a few seconds in.

Played on WSOP instead (recently moved to NJ)...

Please add stud hi / low cash games. You have it for PC, I dont understand why its not on the Mac client. Its been out for 2 years, and still no stud games???

Also More stud hi low tourneys... They ALWAYS double or triple your GTDs. Obviously make more tourneys if your players want it.

HORSE would be great too but seeing as you haven't added stud games yet seems almost impossible. But I can hope maybe one day.

Which Mac version are you using? When did this start to happens?

Has anybody had a problem logging into the mac client? I created an account on my windows laptop last night, then found this thread and was able to get the mac client to work. But now when I login it always says Wrong password... even after resetting the password.
10-17-2017 , 01:16 PM
Ok... nevermind... I had left my windows laptop logged in and I suspect it wouldnt let me log in because I was still logged in from another computer. (Would be nice if it said something other than "Wrong Password")

After you install ACR, go to the Application folder.

1) hit 'control' on your keyboard and click your touchpad/trackpad/Magic Mouse
2) select 'show package contents'
3) click on 'contents' > 'MacOS' folder > run/execute 'AmericasCardroomPoker'
4) 'AmericasCardroomPoker32' should appear and click on it

The standard ACR client should show up.

This probably has to do with 64bit compatibility issues with macOS Sierra and this method force/runs the 32bit version – just a guess.
This worked!

Just ask, apparently? This was pretty bazaar. The question was why my rewards won't work on Mac. They said it's not compatible...but when I questioned it again, they fixed it? It works now.

lol at the chat history. I tried that today and they told me they were on the phone and to hold on.

Played a tournament today, but couldn't open the tournament lobby the whole time. I'm guessing that is pretty normal based on this thread though.

Anyone still having problems with getting the ACR client to load on their Mac? Definitely do not want to guy buy a windows computer...
12-21-2017 , 01:32 PM
I think it has to do with the fact that ACR decided for whatever reason to write their mac application in 32-bit and High-Sierra doesn't fully support 32-bit applications.
12-25-2017 , 09:39 PM
I frequently sit out in the SB. It seems like every 5 or 6 times in the BB same thing happens during cash games when i play more than 2 tables. Any thing i can fix on my end or is it still bad software on ACR's part?

Help - I'm on a mac and can't even install an update file - what now?

call support?

otherwise I'm just going to cash out... this site was running great before.

I haven't logged in in about 6 months.

don't think I've changed my OS... running Yosemite...

ugh - just chatted with support - apparently I'm screwed - if you are on a mac, you get an update - can't install.... they are "working on it"
oh by the way - I can't cash out except on the client.... makes no sense...

so I have to either find someone who has a PC (no one I know does - who the F4%%%ck uses anything but Macs these days? (I half kid) or I have to stay patient till they fix this issue.

they suggested Time Machine - the problem is I don't think I've done a time machine update since installing - maybe...
even if I did - it would simply look to update that one anyway and I'm back to the damaged install file issue...

good thing I don't have Papi money on site....

When I try to open the DMG that contains the client, it tells me that there is 'No Mountable Volume'...

Running Sierra on a Macbook pro.

You could try to do the following steps:

Right click on your "Americascardroompoker" application in the applications

folder and click "show package contents". Then open the contents folder and

in the drop-down menu open the "macOS folder". There should be at least one

Americascardroompoker Unix executable file there. Once you ran one or both of

those files ACR would open fine.

Fired up ACR today to see that there was a Stud hi/lo tourny running, alright good deal lets go. I register, get sat and then discover because I'm running mac it won't show me all of my cards. I message support and they give me the process to remedy this. I asked what could be done about my current tournament tables that were running because a portion of the instructions involved me deleting the software. The support tech said nothing, that I was the one that was taking the risk despite there being nothing posted about beta version potentially not working. So while I tried to solve the issue I was blinded down in several tournaments that I was deep in. Thanks for offering a solution.
I saved the conversation if anyone would like to see it.
