seriously this software is so ****ing bad.

Does anyone have the problem where you bet and it clicks auto call any before you can ever notice? I've played like 60 tourneys on this site lifetime and probably lost 4-5 of them auto calling all ins.. You make your action and the software freezes up and hits auto call.. ****ing most tilting **** ever.

When I try opening the client it gets stuck at "Starting... 50%"

I tried reinstalling the software but I still get stuck at the same spot.

Any suggestions on a fix?

^ 5th time was a charm!

if you right click the .dmg(downloaded file) then hit open it will install the .dmg file. Then go to your Applications folder in "Finder" and right click the App for ACR then hit open again. It will ask you if you would like to install the newest version.

Tried playing on my mac partition for first time in forever, looks nice but yeh it's not really close to playable.

They promised mac software, anti bot measures, and fast fold poker, real talk yo it seems like you don't have competent employees. I'll do it for you i'm just v expensive lmk kthxbai
07-27-2016 , 03:48 AM
They didn't promise any fast fold poker.
07-27-2016 , 07:30 PM
ah you're right. They said they would begin working on it, but didn't give a delivery date and it was definitely not this year. I'll reduce my price 15% for the slander

They started "working" on this very Mac client more than three years ago, and after two years came up with a mediocre beta version full of bugs. Since release, not much has changed. In other words, don't get your expectations up for anything to happen anytime soon.

I can't get it to connect to server when I click on a table. Anyone else experiencing this.
07-28-2016 , 01:02 PM
Same here. All tables froze and now they won't pull up after logging back in. I play on the Windows version though.

This fix worked for me:

On your Mac, go into System Preferences and click on Flash Player Tab

Click on Advanced Tab and Delete all Browser Data and Settings.

Then Updates Tab. Make sure NPAPI and PPAPI plug-ins are both updated. If not, update them. Make sure "Allow Adobe to install updates" is checked so won't have same problem in future.

After doing this, ACR Mac works great. Much smoother and more efficient. No more lag or slow loading. And, Filters work!! Woo-hoo!!!

Hope this helps.
Tried this and didn't work for me.

Is there another fix?

Hi please add 7 card stud and the "other" tab of mixed cash games for Mac users. I was dissapointed that the Mac client doesn't have these options and even if you register to play a mtt of stud variations you won't be able to load the table. So I sat without being able to play in 7 stud mtt after registering.

Other than that I'm running Mac and it's working fine but a bit slower than the Windows version.

I told email support that there were problems with the mac client and their response was to download a windows emulator. Gee, thanks.

Timebank doesn't active 90% of the time...just auto check/folds. Have the "auto-engage" option checked and clicking the red box, when it pops up, does nothing. Emailed them about this and their response was "please send screenshot."

I believe ACR tech support wished they didn't even put the Mac version of ACR out. It's not the Windows version by far!

I installed it the other day and have been able to get it open once. It is no longer installed, shame too because I hate using Windows

I usually 6-table 6-max NLHE on ACR using the mac software. While I do so successfully, it could definitely use a tune-up. The software freezes frequently, but it's still playable. If you guys can smooth that out somehow, we'd all appreciate it. Thanks for all the time and effort you're putting into the mac software.

Opened the Mac client to play for I didn't want to full with Parallels. Registered and ran smoothly until got to final two tables. I had to stop and start the client seems like every hand all the way to final table. Please ACR, make this work, please! You are going to lose to BetOnline as it works perfectly on a Mac.

Right. If BetOnline had rakeback, I would have switched already.

That is the reason I want ACR to work on Mac. I will just settle with ACR via parallels. It would be very cool if they could have a Mac version of ACR that is equivalent to the windows version instead of that donkey kong Mac adobe air crap that bugs out.

Surprised to see all the problems people are having with the Mac client. I play on a Mac sometimes and l've never had any issues. But I only play mtt and at most have 3-4 tables open.
