I think they should do some lower stakes. The $5 is the only one that really runs anymore consistently.

If they had a $3 (or $2.50), $1, $.50 there would be a lot more traffic IMO.

It'd take a big change to get $25s+ running again. Probably 6-max and some other things, IDK.

The $10s don't run because people don't register for them, but people don't register for them because the games don't run.

If 10-20% of people regged a $10 instead of a $5, the $10s would be healthy (can probably be accomplished by ditching the wait time UI). Combine that with other things like changes to the structure, or whatever, and they might be even more healthy.

I reached out to WPN_REP2, as he seems to be the one involved with 2.0s. Maybe there's more going on behind the scenes than is evident publicly. I hate seeing all the potential being wasted.

Also, can we get any updates? Is there anything in the works?

The $10s+ are dead and a simple thing like adjusting the lobby UI has been in the dev queue for 2.5 months: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...&postcount=856

Why? What is happening? Why can't we have nice things?
Rakeback is still broken it seems. Not getting any from these still.

Some of the changes in the pipeline will help with $25s+ running again. Having the lobby say 3/9 players is a huge one. Regs either never would register them or stopped trying was a big part of the decline. The text scales really poorly if you have the table small and with other software issues it turned off regs from playing them. They will run with 9 players and they had before.

I literally stopped loading 2.0s because in my current layout i can't read anything on a 2.0 table due to it being too small.

Cool.

Can't wait for the changes to make it out the pipeline.

Any clue when?

Hopefully the payouts are part of these changes coming. Seriously doubt the text size is the huge reason these are drying up so fast.

My thoughts about why games aren't running...

1. Regs aren't interested in the game. Because a reg needs HUD to multi table.
No HUD -> no regs -> no recreational players -> no game.

To be honest I don't miss HUD that much in Jackpot poker. But playing a lot of tables of SNGs w/o HUD is different story.

2. KISS principle. Keep it simple, stupid.
If you need a video tutorial to explain how this game works than it's probably not simple.

3. No option to observe games and no info about biggest prizes won recently.
This would help to attract recreationals.

Anxiously awaiting to make these games my main format, I love the concept but until the payouts become more top-heavy I won't load a single game

Is the rakeback fixed?

(I didn't play this last Sit & Crush week)

I didn't seem to get any yesterday. Pity, I was going to start playing these...

Rakeback is not working, I don't think it has worked for weeks.

Also, signed up for a $11 table at 2pm and it did not start until after 7pm (forgot I had registered). Considering it was a Sunday with MOSS events crushing guarantees and thousands of players online, seems anything above $5 are dead.

Over 1 month.

I contacted numerous people. The most recent was Winning_TD, but that was nearly 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything back.

At this point I'm tracking the # of games I play and will ask for the rakeback sometime soon.

Don't get me started.

The $11s have been mostly dead since around May.

80%+ of it is because the lobby UI funnels traffic into the $5s.

A new lobby UI has been on the dev queue since April...

So they created something cool, got a lot of hype and then watched it crash and burn.

And while all this is happening 2.0s became the sponsor for "Poker Night in America" on CBS Sports. That's obviously awesome, don't get me wrong. It's just they can do that but not make a simple +EV UI change?

FWIW, last month Trash370 said changes are in the pipeline.

But their pipeline needs: https://www.getflexseal.com/

I only repeated what had been said publicly about changes fwiw. I'm not part of the dev team nor do I work for ACR. I myself am disappointed in the lack of support for the format. I know there are a lot of regs that would start playing them with some tweaking.

My bad. I know you're not part of ACR but assumed (since you have an informal relationship at least) you had inside info.

The last thing I heard about 2.0s was when the CEO did the Twitch stream a few months back. He was talking about the beta mobile version of ACR (play money/2.0s/jackpots) and how the timeline was a few weeks out.

I had a big client update today (to version 24.4) and it seems to have fixed the rakeback, I think. I didn't have any of the games I played over the prior 2 weeks show up.. but DID today (played two last night and they do show on my rakeback page today).

I agree and wish the $11's ran more frequently. I've been playing more 5's but would mix the 11's into my play if they ever go.

Hm. Played a bunch last night and no rakeback.

I can't get someone to acknowledge the problem let alone fix it...

I played more of them last night.. NO rakeback for me either.

Yeah, I'm keeping count right now. Ideally they'll be able to query how many 2.0s were played since X date, but I want my own record just in case.

At some point (after it's fixed?) I'll PM Winning_TD, and I'm sure he'll mend whatever's owed.

I'm at 56 games and counting.... I have a record of every game number, date and starting time for all of them.

The rakeback e-mail people actually said that my issue was CLOSED.. which is total BS as nothing's been fixed.

FTR, it broke sometime around 7/7-7/9 (maybe earlier).

Beware of this bug:

Register for games -> Get an error message that there was a problem with the network. -> The system refunds the failed games but sometimes doesn't refund all (in my experience, 1 buy-in ends up missing).

I reported it to customer support (the rep, Sasha, did a great job of hearing me out and trying to find the error, which she was apparently able to locate). Supposedly I'll be getting a refund, but....yeah.

Anyway, it's easy to miss. Be careful.

I've went 3 rounds with CS to get those corrected... was a PITA but after arguing with them enough, they did finally refund them.

I've only reg'd one game at a time since. Even if I want to play 2 of them, I'll reg them 1 at a time.

I'm on the same plan. Well 1 less, but yeah basically the same.
