The seating is 100% not random and they really need to look into the issue everyone is stating. I have played over 500 games and the same reg is 2 to my left every game we are in a game together. This is a big issue and does have an effect on ones win rate. Having a competent reg to your left over and over compared to a rec player will certainly change your play and decrease your win rate.

glgl

edit: Looking at this some more, I'm guessing $5.50s actually get 0.625 points but points get rounded to nearest 0.05, rounded down on the LB (0.60) and rounded up on the web site chart (0.65). So likely no big deal.
Nope, seems to just by erroneously awarding 0.60 when it should be 0.65 according to the web site and other $0.50 rake SNGs (or at least 0.625 by the 1.25 points per $1 rake).

I'm starting to notice the same players in the same positions as well. To be sure, I downloaded my hand histories and the other players names are left out. Unfortunately, they are all labeled as "villain".

yea noting worse than getting a gold card and nothng added to pool.

Each gold card should at minimum add like $25 to total prize pool.

They should also have one "platinum" card (Ace spades) and if the player OTB 1st to show their card picks it adds like $500 to prize pool (its just worth same as green card if anyone but player OTB picks it)

I like the idea of capping payouts to like 5-6 players bc Id rather 1st payout get higher

Got 2 gold cards and 8 green cards today. 1st place was still $24.00. This should definitely be changed.

Unable to register for SnG 2.0s right now. Anyone else having that issue?

Edit: nvm...seems to be working now

Playing a session right now and Denlvanov and dorksquad are sitting next to each other on 5 of the tables they're at together. They're also both roughly in the same position to me at each table (2-4 seats to my left). I've tried to take some screenshots but my layout doesn't show all tables at once and they kept having their names covered by "FOLD" or whatever action.

Just thought it was worth mentioning.

As much as the seating issue should be fixed asap I feel a more important issue is people missing funds from the "ghost" games that were supposed to be replaced after the update on Thursday. As far as I know nobody has received anything yet and we haven't received any update on when they will be coming. My personal belief is that the network has absolutely no idea how many ghost games there were or how many refunds are owed. Let's make sure this topic stays relevant everyone.

Well i think its clear the seating bug or whatever it is isnt getting fixed because for some odd reason they dont think thheres anything wrong with it. I think you are right they just dont know who or how many games never went off and who is owed what.

There's 100% a bug in the seating.

Every session I have resembles something like this:
http://imgur.com/a/relOF

I've even had sessions where 3 players were lined up on 6 tables.

It's an unfair disadvantage.

Not cool how it's been handled in this thread.

Edit:

Also want to point out that it's not limited to the $5's. Happens on the $10's as well.

Well played about 10 games today and made a small profit. Like others said, seating was almost identical with the regs. Same seating and same sides of the table. Might be a bug on their end, but I see it pretty clear as well.

A couple more quick observations. Neither are big issues, in my opinion.
  • The blinds are timed from the start of the pre-game rather than from the start of level 1.
  • The pre-action buttons look very similar to the action buttons. A quickly-recognizable difference, like maybe a different color or shade, would help avoid misclicks when multi-tabling.

Assuming a note taking system is in the works, could we please get colored note rings? Instead of the tiny, barely noticeable icons used in regular games?

Thanks

Are the win rates similar to that of regular 9 mans after RB/SnC

Also would like the flat pay out structure changed a little
1 green = 3 paid
2 green = 3 paid more

Maybe just bump up spots every other card

Now, I'd love to see the SNG 2.0 payout structure re-visited. From hearing from other players and reading in these forums, it appears the vast majority of players would like to see a more top-heavy payout structure. I propose it be changed to something like this:

Thanks! It's great to see SNGs coming back to life!

We will take a look at this, also #2 will be considered for table layout.

this is being worked on as well.

Also we will be doing a complete review of the seating.

ty all for your feedback.

Wow, I was excited to try these before reading through the thread. Can't believe that multiple people have lost money to ghost games and the WPN reps continue to just completely ignore the issue, while getting upset at people for pointing out seating problems. Good luck getting your money back guys, and thanks for the warning

So Winning TD says flat out people will see funds replaced after last update on Thursday and nothing happens so the route the network chooses to go is to completely ignore the issue? Hate to say it makes the network look like a bunch of crooks.
