That's why those posts get moved generally to is online poker rigged thread. They are unnecessary clutter. As i'm not a full mod I can't move them there and can only delete them.

How's the grinding been going on your end Thrash? Notice a change in the games?

IMO, I've noticed after last week the games have tighten up and games are getting a we bit tougher. Still, they are fun to play and a breath of fresh air.

SIGH, client took another $5.50 from me. This time the game just hung in the lobby. After over 3 hours, I clicked on the X next to the game and got a pop up saying "Your request has been interrupted. Please contact customer support." This is the same message I received 2 days ago, but my game did not hang in lobby that time.

I called support and the lady was confrontational from the start and would not even let me explain the problem to her. She said since no one else is complaining, it has to be on my end. I tried to explain the problem, but she did not want to hear it. Not support like AT ALL. In fact from the start of the call, I felt very put off by her attitude as she simply did not want to hear ANY facts of what the issue was. I got me feeling that support has been trained to deflect SNG 2.0 issues.

So now a total of $11 in 3 days has been debited for games I was not even given the chance to play.

5 hours after regging, it is still hung and I have to go to bed, so I am just going to close the client.

welp, i better get refunded then. ive got 6 games sitting in my lobby.

it makes me happy to see new sng 2.0, pretty fun, a new spin on things, good for the game, ready to smack the jackpot. it saddens me the developers would make a product this ugly. How can something so simple and basic get messed up so bad? 2.0 confuses the hell out of me too often(figuring out the actions that have happened and it takes way longer than it should(mass tabling)). The antes being attached is just unbelievably dumb. big blinds are being set at 225/425/etc, so the opens are those amounts as well. Also, as mentioned, if the big blind who is all in posts for 6 chips and the big blind is supposed to be, say 200, the software allows for players to limp for 6 chips(head explode). Again, how does this happen? Does this stuff not get tested? Obviously, this is all known and has been mentioned but I can't believe when developing a product, this got messed up. Maybe if the antes and the payout table get cleaned up the game will have a more user-friendly feel when multitabling, I only hope because of now I would prefer the traditional tables.

The wait times are so screwed up. Says 3 min now for $5.5 been waiting over 30. I dont understand the point of even having a average wait time in the first place, much less if its not going to be close to accurate. It really is truly amazing how they can screw this launch up like this. Not really surprising though.

So how does the seating work? Because I have the exact same people on my left every single time

Seating is done by order of registration. I am not sure why it does it this way when for reg sngs it is random seating but right now imo it is the least of the problems.

Yeah um this seems like a pretty big one to me. I mean this is much bigger than the place of the prize pool or size of the font. Now that the stuck games seems to be fixed this one needs to be fixed asap imo.

It should be changed to random seating, if it isn't.

Any word on whether today's update fixed the problem of games getting stuck in the “Waiting to Start” section?

Have missing buyins been refunded?

I have also noticed the same players to my left in all my games. If it is done by reg order then they need to change that and quickly. If 6 players reg 10 games then all 10 games will have the same seat position for these players. This should be random and should be moved to high priority for resolution.

Funny how the reps go mia when stuff like this happens

There's definitely a bug with the seating algorithm. I've noticed several players sitting in the exact same spots. It typically seems the same regs are to my right or left, which probably means it goes off registration order. This problem needs to be a focus for the next update.

I know absolutely nothing about nothing about any of this but it seems like random seating would be something very easy to fix no? Also how in the world was this not random to start with?
03-30-2017 , 05:43 PM
It is random.

Try registering for 8 in a row that go off and get a college to as well and see you are always in same relative position to each other.
I am worried by your responds that if this is meant to be random, what if the same 'random' is for the payouts.

don't play sng 2.0 but play alot of jpp and was wondering why i played 10+ games with some reg the other day and he was always seated on my left. pretty frustrating, this really needs to be addressed if seating isn't random

I'm almost 100% sure that the seating is not random. I almost always reg 6-8 tables to start my session and very often I will have the same player to my direct left, another multi-tabling reg two spots to my left, etc., at each of my tables.

Would be easier to verify if games were observable. Would be a lot easier to verify if hand histories did not have anonymous villains. FWIW.

Anyway, it should be easy for the site to verify they are actually getting assigned randomly by looking at the actual assignments that have happened.
