Yeah, as much as people might like this idea, until ACR can actually produce a quick seamless delivery with no lag or bugs I just don't see that point in this. Sorry, not excited....

I think the fast fold format could potentially increase player pools. Especially on a mobile platform. I think the regs could create a decent enough base for games especially if 6-max were an option. 240 players would be 40 tables, which seems reasonable. Also both mobile and fast fold would allow recreational players and regs to play shorter periods of time and more quickly.

Would Lightning Poker be a good name? It seems to be fairly neutral politically.

I think lightning would be a perfect name. All of the blitz (literally because blitz means lightning) with none of the Nazi connotation. A Google of Lightning Poker though does turn this up: http://www.lightningpoker.net/. Might be a trademark issue if ACR picks this name.

Not true. I was told it is coming out with mucked hands at showdown and after the lag gets fixed. I was told it'll be done in 24-48 hours

I've already submitted the name " Lightning Poker" to the CEO of ACR and he and his team responded that they love the idea and that is the name they are going to go with.

"Lightning Poker" coming summer of 2016

Perhaps you are too young to play REAL POKER. But real poker is played at a rate of speed for everybody to keep the action moving, with the occasional time for a major decision. Not this online wait for everybody to cycle thru 30 or 40 tables looking for the AA and wasting the time of the few that play 1 or 2 tables and are able to keep the action moving. That sonny is REAL POKER Kind of like what you call it. Blitz or lighting!! If you want gimmicks and cool names, play war with your dolls that you named.

Sorry, i guess i just don"t understand. This thread is (I thought) about speeding up the game, but you seem to be saying you want to cycle thru 30 or 40 tables looking for that AA to play while the other 29 to 39 tables your on wait for you. I thought maybe there was a reason to start playing here again. Your right, LIVE is so much more enjoyable.

Just got to love the stupidity of some people. Thread is about speed and he wants slow. just to let you also know, I can afford to donate 30 or 40 bucks a day toward my enjoyment. BUT no enjoyment! then nobody gets it. Seem to me a smart person would love me at their table and i would be there donating if i enjoyed myself. Guess some people have others typing for them cause it sure seems they are to stupid to do it themselves!

Stupid to implement fast fold poker? No one would be forcing you to play lmao. Stick to your regular tables, and if not, no one cares anyways. 30-40$ deposits to the poker economy will not be missed. Enjoy your 1/1 Live tables, maybe 1/2
