No I try to stick to the reason why the thread was started. Make another thread if you want to call out a cheater. I try not reading your post but when they are one sentence hard not to. Ignorant? Lol

I wasn't the one who changed the direction of the thread, I simply followed it. And if you really want to get technical it says "fraud" in the title of the thread while referring to a specific tourney so essentially it remains on point. So clearly yes you are in fact ignorant? Lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol

Probably all that can be said has been said about how the money should be redestributed from that tournie. At least I made my opinions about all that very clear. The discussion on cheating stems specificaally from play at that tournie. So it's not really that off topic. Like it or not, sometimes topics take unexpected turns.

We've gone off in a lot of different directions in this thread. Here is how I would sum up the main issues:

1. Tournaments are lagging and stopping so often that people are reluctant to play on this site at all. it's been happening for years. I posted many years ago (5?) that the site should be taken down so that all the technical issues could be fixed.

2. It is unfair and unacceptable that tournament payouts are not calculated at the moment that the tournament was disrupted.

3, I agree that ICM would be the best way to calculate payouts, and I have a hard time believing that the math to do that can't be programmed into the system. I only took three semesters of computer science, in the 1980s, and I think I have a pretty good idea what the structure of the code to do that would look like.

4. Regardless of the method, payouts must be based on when the tournament lagged or went down. We can't know what might have happened at any point if the tournament had not been stopped. But we know that once certain players are forced to sit out and others are not, it's no longer a fair tournament nothing that happens after that point should be considered.

5. If for some reason ICM payouts are not possible, then payments must be made, by chip count percentage or some other stated method, based on the stack sizes at the moment that the tournament was disrupted or stopped.

6. Something similar to my first five points should become part of the tournament rules, which should be widely advertised so that players can begin to have confidence in the network sites again.

Summed up nicely, Sir. Luckily I'm European unlike a lot of people here, so I just switched to PokerStars.

ive had the issue a few weeks ago and more times in the past every time never even got a refund even tho i lose about 50% of my chips from lag issues then comeback and be able to play one hand or two then disconnect again after this happens like 4-5 times it ends up getting shut down and comebacks at a random time that isn't announced so i lose even more chips because it didnt show the time it came back or as im talking to support they say its their fault so refund will be issued then mtt comebacks and i blind out no refund or comeback and i shove and get ****ed because my stack has dwindled down to where nobody will fold to my shoves which normally happens in turbos alot never once got a refund even tho they admit it was their fault
