WTD told me that he takes into consideration forum input on tournaments.

So here we can have some say on one particular tournament.

Which Structure do you prefer better.



Two weeks ago:

A. 15 min blinds. 1500 starting stack. One hour Registration. 3K Addon


or current


B. 10 min blinds. 2500 starting stack. Two hour Registration. 5K Addon


Post A or B and why if you would like.


I choose A.

With B, that second hour is not poker. Its a shove fest and players are barely holding on...stalling...trying to reach the add on with their 2-5K stack so they can have 8bbs once the add on is complete. Sure you have your top ten stacks..but even they are playing shove/fold poker within the hour.

Its not worth the normal 18 dollars (a rebuy and an addon) to hope you get lucky.

i played this last night and you get to 500/1000 before you add on. It's a complete joke. The have it because they think that it will generate a ton more rebuys which it prob does. But ppl don't even play it anymore cause it sux so hard. Didn't even make the guar last night (Sunday)

He did say he was gonna take another look at the structure sometime today. I assume he will probably comment on this sometime tomorrow.

Rebuy/addon tourneys are one thing...but I think some settling needs to occur on some of these other changes. Give it time to really flesh out.

Well I see tonights 2K is the shove fest...will not be playing.

a all day, I have made a few FT's with this new structure, The extra hours cause the FT to be super short as the CL usually has around 20bb's

people need to evolve and learn how to handle all kinds of hold em games, if you dont like shove fests, dont play em. OR ante up 200 bux and play a 20 min blind game

A. this was one of my favorite tournies on the schedule. today was the first time paying it with 2 hr levels, did not enjoy, and will not be coming back for it.

and I dont mind the 3 hr entires on the regular 15min 5000 starting stack gtd. But in the R/A format dont enjoy it

Im leaving this decision to you. The prizepools have been better with the new structures. If you want me to go back i will do it. Or we can go in between. Make an 1hr 1/2 r/a with 15 min blinds and i will look at a structure where you get 10bbs at the end of r/a period??

I even think the 2 hour reg will work if the blinds are at 15 min.

Its the blinds at the add on that is not feasible currently.

I really dont care if the late is 1, 1.5, or 2 as long as a double rebuy gives you a healthy-ish stack during rebuy period, and if the addon is big enough to be plus EV to buy.

Changed. Ok starting stack 2000 - rebuy 2000 - add on 4000

Late reg will be 2 hours so if you get in right at the end you can buy all and have 20 bbs!
