I'm not quite sure about how the details would work but I thought it might be a good idea to have some sort of leaderboard for SkillBet. Could possibly be another way to use the Skill Points. The top ten players or so who have accumulated the most points during the week could then be entered into a special bracket tournament with extra money added by SkillBet.

Another option instead of or in addition to the tournament for maybe the top 30 players would be the ability to purchase something from a SkillBet store such as electronics, Paypal, Apple, or Amazon gift cards. Although, it would be better if everyone who has Skill Points could utilize a store such as this. There could be exclusive items for the players at the top of the leaderboard.

Along those lines, there could be a tournament series once every few months with the top players awarded with even bigger prizes such as entry to live tournaments or bigger prize pools.

Skill Points may not be the best way to determine the top players on a leaderboard so another idea could be something separate like Skill Chips (or coins, gold, dollars, bucks) where you can only get them by winning challenges and tournaments. Skill Points may work better as a way to purchase items in a store as mentioned above.

Not sure if anyone else would want this but I think it might be something to consider. I think this could attract more players to the site, especially if there was a way to satellite into live tournaments by getting to the top of the leaderboard.

i think skillpoints could work as a way of keeping score for leaderboards, especially if it was a low stakes and high stakes board so low stakes grinders have a shot at something.

Not sure why this never picked up, but it seems like a pretty solid idea. I haven't seen any promotions really on skillbet up to this point other than the basic $10 one set in place

How many regulars actually play on the site? If only 5 people actually play, how can you have a leaderboard?

Im going to take a wild guess and say maybe it will give the hundreds of lurkers (such as yourself) a reason to sit down rather than, you know, lurk?

Can you rail any tables? I've been doing the practice stuff to try it out.

We could allow it with a time delay, but that's a pain - can't do it real-time because of the nature of the game (i.e., it would be very easy to cheat). Try the practice tables to get a feel for the game.

Have you guys updated that leaderboard yet?
