lol...after having my funds frozen on both Pokerstars and Full Tilt...and with how long it takes to get paid, if ever, on other sites for US players...it's nice to not have to worry about it.

On the iphone I zoom in so the bottom of my screen is the buttons, and the top I can just see the cards of the players on the top of the table but not their avatars. I don't really have much trouble with the buttons this way. Also, I make sure to use the double arrow on the top right of the app to make it fullscreen
How do you zoom in? I can't see how to do that?

The same way you would zoom in a regular webpage (spreading your figures outwards on the screen)

I would do this if I could see my stats

Above cashier where it says welcome (your user id) you can see you game history. You can see how you played versus your opponent. As for flop/showdown type %s I don't know if they have them.

I agree it would be nice if it was easier to navigate through your game history.

For example if you "mouse over" the game ID sometimes it says "better luck next time" when in fact you won or vice versa.

Stats about what % of total games won, avg amt won, broken down by stakes/challenge buy-ins would be awesome.

Also it would be sweet to see a game hand history replayer to re-watch the 30 hands side-by-side and see exactly how you vs your opponent played.

I don't think HUDs really work as-is because of the generic computer opponents "player 1, player 2, etc." If that was changed so that each computerized opponent had an actual screen names then you could then use a HUD and 3rd party software to better track exactly how that computer opponent plays. That would be pretty sweet actually, and give more personality and real-life feel to the characters at the table.

Yep! I like that too. It's on the dev list.

Yea that would be a great feature.

While we are at it, is there a way to change the game speed? It's actually too fast to play multiple games effectively.
10-23-2012 , 05:09 PM
^no but I am not a fan of slowing down the game speed. Better would be to add a time bank.
10-23-2012 , 09:29 PM
Thank you for the suggestions regarding speed.

We'd like to improve this, but we have not determined how best to do it.

Several ideas:

(1) We add slow tables and fast tables (and normal). Easier but clutters the lobby.
(2) We offer a speed option in setting (slow, fast, and normal). Then 2 slow players would be cause the game to be slow; 2 fast would be fast; 1 slow and 1 normal would be medium slow; 1 fast and 1 slow would be normal; etc.

Thoughts?

do not like either. I'm a big fan of keeping game speed as is but like other sites, allowing a 30sec time bank (for every 30 hands played) you can click if you need more time or that gets activated before auto check/folding you
10-24-2012 , 01:00 AM
Yeah I don't like having speed options. There aren't enough games right now and I'd worry that having different speed tables would just fragment the action and lower game choices.

I really enjoy the fast game speed. It's one of the best aspects of the games.
10-24-2012 , 01:03 AM
^totally agree, and just to appease those who want games slower or are timing out, add a time bank so if needed it activates but for the most part doesn't slow down the game speed.
10-24-2012 , 01:06 AM
^ Yeah I'm ok with a time bank. If that means a multitabler can offer more action I'm all for it. And for me sometimes I get dangerously close to running out of time on a re-raise since you have to manually select the amount instead of just e.g. 3X

anyone wanna out themselves as regs? I'll start. My sn is BetterCallSaul

I play the challenges more than the live games for some reason.

SN is Headsupstud

Regarding the speeds, I had 4 challenges to play today, at 2 I barely had time to go back and forth before it made the annoying beeping sound. The AI is much faster than your average human player so you only have seconds before having to make another decision.
10-24-2012 , 07:50 PM
agree, for the challenges plz let us have more time to decide, after all, what's the rush?

for the live games i'm a huge fan of a 30sec time bank and if game continues after 30 hands it adds 3esc/hand

REALLY great thoughts about time bank!

We are going to give it a lot of thought and likely add it to the development list.
10-27-2012 , 05:16 PM
I just started playing and like the format. One thing (unless I am missing something) would it be possible to make the challenges a bit more visible in the lobby? I think there may be a lot of people playing the "cash" games just because they are what the lobby shows. I prefer the challenges and a bigger player pool is always better
