I think Riot lucked out a little by accident, Samsung White should realistically get 2nd on purpose for a few reasons

1. Group B is the weakest, and they are huge favorites vs any of them. If Blue goes for 2nd to dodge the Semi matchup they are stuck playing Shield in the Quarters which is toughest quarter match possible for either.

2. Group C is the strongest group, it's conceivable that Blue could finish 2nd, which makes White throwing the group back fire.

In short Riot ****ed up pretty hard, but accidently got lucky that there shouldn't be shenanigans. I could see the last day of group B being about dodging Samsung White, but Edward is really good so you don't gain that much doing it.

Thoughts and predictions about worlds

I kind of wonder if Tristana will be 100% pick/ban this worlds. It's been discussed elsewhere, I wonder if the Korean teams give her the same respect that the NA/EU teams did at the end of the summer splits.

It all depends on the team comp. A few patches back before soraka nerf and when heal removed grievous wounds etc the op strat was the "unkillable mundo".

If they can get orianna lulu etc (or maybe ziggs to stall) then the EV of trist is pretty good. I mean you are like 80% to win if you get to late game with a minor gold deficit.

Seems there are some serious problems for SHRC. TSM is looking very good now.

koreans and the chinese never like each other. its an awful idea to ever bring a korean to a chinese team. asians are very racist. koreans look down in china massively and china got quite a lot of national pride. uzi obv has a lot of lol doublelift going for him so its even worse.

hai is now top 100 challenger in korea after 117 games with 72% winrate in soloque. he is probably running quite good but hai is quite good for korean meta because it involves a lot of roaming and team fights. He always comes out ahead even after losing lane

that 72% winrate is pretty telling

shows that you can't carry all games and you can do no more than your best, but also that there's so much room to carry

Samsung Blue says all the foreign teams are bad, but TSM is the best out of the baddies.

Imo the only tough choices are group C and D. Fnatic or OMG and C9 or Alliance. Group B is so close that you cant go wrong with any prediction.
