Just gotta get over it. You can try to push good vibes and be captain for the team.

Some people are just toxic or want to FF @ 20 if they team is down on gold or game looks hard.

Not much you can do, but just keep going, because even in high diamond, there are people like this, at least from what I've seen on stream. Block out the negativity and keep going

Apparently xerath bug is going on.

We're getting pounded because people just can't NOT fight for a few minutes. Our Twitch is whining the entire game about how it's over and he's not trying. He's blaming everyone etc etc, you know the drill. Starting surrender votes every time he dies even while we're in the middle of winnable fights.

We're down to our nexus and we're triple-inhibed. We're just clearing the minions and the enemy is just standing there. They have a like, 15/3 Kassadin with lichbane who can one shot the nexus any time he wants. They creep closer one at a time and all but their tanky-as-**** Nunu get killed. He stands there and dances. We chase him off and keep our nexus from dying to minions.

10 minutes later, we win the game. ****ing LETS GO. (it was my duo friend's promo to Gold for his first time out of Silver too)

Honestly I think going 0-248 in Bronze might be harder than going 338-0 if you're good enough. He's stepped up his game in season 7, he only went 130-4 on Yi in season 6.

Guessing most of the people that used to post here don't play any more. I know I hadn't played in like 6 months before I started again recently.

I stopped playing seriously back last May when Overwatch launched. Now I've moved back to CSGO. I tried to play a bit of LoL recently but couldn't be bothered to pick up the new champs or learn all the balance tweaks. Too much tweaking in this game.

Can someone help me with strat?

I've been maining top lane lately and I see this repeating pattern in games I lose. The game will be evenish around the 20 minute mark and lets say all level one towers are down. My team is grouped and thirsting for a fight. I try to stay with them as much as I can but I'd prefer to focus objectives rather than fighting. Then inevitably either side lane starts autopushing because of minion pressure. So I leave to push it out and backping them and even message then to not fight. But they never listen. 30 seconds later they're all-inning 4v5 and as soon as they lose the inevitable "Report Garen" starts appearing.

What should I do? Do I sacrifice objective and lane control just to babysit my team 24/7?

I'm no expert but here's something to add to the discussion.

You can usually predict when the ARAM is going to happen because one or both bot lane towers are down. Bot lane will start dipping in and out of mid trying to set up some weird play. When this is the case you should try to slow push your lane from your side (easier to do if your opponent is doesn't like freezing, or if your t1 tower is already down it gives your slow push a lot longer to come to fruition)

Then you can roam all you want with slow push going?

I dunno

Good tips, but the situation im facing is when laning is over, lvl1 towers are down, so I don't have a lane opponent anymore. Basically I've already joined my team and am contesting mid or drag or something, but then there is a lul in the action, I look top and see a huge wave pushing my 2nd level tower. Obviously someone has to go push it out but at my level (low gold) there's way too many people that don't understand lane control, and they will not respect that I'm away.

So I'm faced with the dilemma: Do I leave to do what I'm "supposed to do" and push the lane back past river so it starts slowpushing to the opponent. Or do I stick with my team because its 90% chance they will take a bad fight if I leave, and ignore the huge free pressure that minions are putting on sidelanes.

Heh, yeah, I'm bad with TP, need to work on that. But it's not always up when this happens.

I'm not very good but I think you gotta get the lane right? I can't imagine just letting a tower take damage and miss all that free cs for a hope a good fight breaks out. Not sure what to do if your team always fights tho, that **** annoys the crap out of me too.

Fk yeah! Especially when they start berating you for "just farming while your team fights". Drives me nuts.

push the lane back earlier

when you are in the spot where everyone is grouped and the waves are close to reaching your towers there is no good choice, you give up exp and gold or leave ur teammates alone so they can take bad fights. I mean thats the situation you are trying to create for your opponent when you push before grouping at an obective/forcing fights.

The further back you are in a lane when you catch a wave the less off a threat u are and the less pressure u put on the other team. If you are in the middle of the lane the enemy toplane should be thinking about getting back top to push back the lane, if you are at your 2nd tier tower the enemy team should try to force fights.

you cant always walk freely around the map so its natural that you end up in this situation a lot when you are behind and have less controll of the map. If you end up in this situation when you are even or ahead pushing the lane back earlier should help set up favorable pushes for your team and put the enemy in this bad spot instead.

This is the right answer.

If you do get in the aforementioned situation, though, I would tend to say that it is best to just stay with your team in most situations. You can say "well they shouldn't have fought" all you want, but that's just an excuse after the fact. It's soloq, which means that people make bad decisions all the time. You can't control what your teammates do- you can only control your own actions. Especially at lower levels of solo q I think that it is almost always better to just stay with your team and concede that your team was outmaneuvered (intentionally or not) if you think there's any significant chance that your team would get roped into a fight without you.

you should think in terms of ranges. how often is your team going to get into a fight, how badly does losing a fight turn the game, how good is your champion at team fighting

the later the game is the more you should lean towards grouping
the more waves you lose grouping the more you should lean towards getting it

Everytime I see my team sucks at pushing wave I build a banner of command. It's by far the best item in the game in silver/gold. You get free towers every game with it and your team stay together

It's also a wonderful item to get S grades with supp/jungler
