You can usually predict when the ARAM is going to happen because one or both bot lane towers are down. Bot lane will start dipping in and out of mid trying to set up some weird play. When this is the case you should try to slow push your lane from your side (easier to do if your opponent is doesn't like freezing, or if your t1 tower is already down it gives your slow push a lot longer to come to fruition)
Then you can roam all you want with slow push going?
I dunno
Good tips, but the situation im facing is when laning is over, lvl1 towers are down, so I don't have a lane opponent anymore. Basically I've already joined my team and am contesting mid or drag or something, but then there is a lul in the action, I look top and see a huge wave pushing my 2nd level tower. Obviously someone has to go push it out but at my level (low gold) there's way too many people that don't understand lane control, and they will not respect that I'm away.
So I'm faced with the dilemma: Do I leave to do what I'm "supposed to do" and push the lane back past river so it starts slowpushing to the opponent. Or do I stick with my team because its 90% chance they will take a bad fight if I leave, and ignore the huge free pressure that minions are putting on sidelanes.

Heh, yeah, I'm bad with TP, need to work on that. But it's not always up when this happens.
