Wolf got robbed of the MVP in that Yi game IMO.

Faker's Viktor is quickly becoming his new Leblanc too. I think he's averaging over 10 kills a game with it so far.

viktor seems really strong

faker is too good so it's impossible to ban him out

In neither of the yi games has he been instrumental in the team winning. Could've played teemo mid and they still win both.

I mean he hasn't been the hard carry Yi you're used to going off in SoloQ, but I think the threat of the Yi makes teams really question their engage, and they don't commit to picks as hard as they could because if they commit a lot to getting a pick and blow their main spells, then Yi could clean up 2-3 kills if they don't have vision of him.

And SKT wins 2-0 in 2 stomps. Insane how good this 5-man lineup is. MaRin, Faker, Wolf all prob the best in the world at their positions. Add to that that Bang and Bengi are really good and this team just looks unstoppable.

Whether it's on Annie, Leona, Alistar, or someone else, Wolf just seems to get a perfect engage off at least once per game. When they get to combine that with Viktor's massive AoE damage it's just unstoppable.

Bengi benefited so much from the junglers leaving korea, I think he's pretty weak but not exploited because he isn't vs Dandy/Kakao types anymore

He'd be at best #5 if everyone stayed and well Samsung would still be clear #1 team

Finally catching up on weekend's action. Wild final game between SKT and CJ. SKT just needed to push for 5th Dragon sooner, Azir/Kog'maw/Ryze is just way too much late game damage to let the game get to 40+ minutes.

that was a very sloppy draft from SKT, leaving Ryze up is sketchy giving them Azir too is bonkers

Corki as a power pick always seems so bad, always seems the other adc has bigger impact if you don't super snowball the 5 mins after TF

wayyyy too much damage for CJ. Not sure why SKT let this happen. Even 5 dragons weren't enough.

Don't think it matters that much overall since SKT is still the best team in korea

Yeah I mean that was just horrid drafting by SKT in the third game. If you're going to take Corki early then you need a Mid or top laner who can help in the siege game. They had 4 dragons, a Baron Buff, and a gold lead, and they couldn't get through the bot outer turret. Part of that was Nunu's synergy with Azir and Kog, but if you can't deny structures in a 5v5 with all those advantages it's tough to win a game.

watching LPL and LCK its pretty clear that the split really hurt both leagues, I think we are left with 2 teams EDG and SKT everything else is pretty weak.

Dandy/Mata are still elite but unlikely to make worlds(teams still try to ban mata which has never worked) and I think SSW would have been pretty big favorites to repeat had they stayed together, Looper might have been a problem but the rest are so strong and Looper could fill in well enough

Still don't quite get Vici's move to make Dandy a top laner. What made SSW so special was how Dandy and Mata worked together to totally control the vision on the map. When Dandy is relegated to one lane on the other side of the map they can't do that nearly as effectively as they used to.

can someone explain to me how teams qualify for worlds? from what i can tell it may be

winner of summer split
top points through both splits

winner of a tournament (who's in this?? is it the next four highest point teams?)

does it differ between NA/EU/KR?
OGN 2015 Quote

NA/EU/KR:
#1 seed: Summer Split winner
#2 seed: Most circuit points
#3 seed: Gauntlet tournament between the 4 remaining teams with the most circuit points (#3 vs #4, winner vs #2, winner vs #1)

China:
#1 seed: Most circuit points
#2/3 seed: Double elimination tournament between the 4 remaining teams with the most circuit points, winner gets #2 seed, loser's bracket winner gets #3 seed

Really thought SKT was gonna roll all the way through worlds like 4-5 weeks ago, but I feel like a lot of the mid lane item changes have hurt Faker and his champ pool. His Viktor game a couple nights ago vs Najin was terrible.

EDG is the favorite atm, but even during their winstreak they've had sloppy games that they had to grind a win out of, but I think at the end of the day they've got the best balance in their team

All 5 routinely players carry, they are completely unbannable and they play incredibly well ahead and from behind you can build big leads **** up one fight and lose the game.

I haven't seen anything from the other Korean or Chinese teams that will stop an SKT vs EDG final which should be as good as the MSI one was. Clearlove's edge in jungle should be enough, Bengi was exposed all last year the difference this year is all the good junglers left Korea.
