I've been Jarvan'ing a lot. He is pretty sick.

Not sure if he is OP, I actually have changed my mind and think he is just solidly above-average. He gets countered by heroes like Kat (not sure if this counts) relatively easily.

not sure why they didnt nerf irelia, sehs just v v good. they even announced on the forum that theyre gonna nerf her.

Heard it was sorta like warcraft 3, I've had the game for a while now but I never play custom maps or when I did I never knew what to do and just gave up.

this game? elaborate on your post please... it is like WAR 3's DOTA too from what I've heard although I haven't played that game. This game is easy to pick up and free. No reason not to atleast try it.

What's it like going from DotA to LoL? Been playing dota somewhat regularly for 6+ years now and I think it might be time to move on.

Personally, I wouldn't play anything in the custom maps for more then 3 weeks. But I'd never tried dota, played some td and 7 blademasters thought it was fun, but got repetitive after 2 weeks.

No idea what this post means. Anyway it is slightly different, The bushes\trees dont work the same so cant dodge as effectivly, you cant deny (apart from as gangplank lol) and different heroes, but still the same "skills" transfer E.g positional/map awareness, last hittng etc. obv to be a decent player you need to know what all heroes are capable of etc so thats going to take a little time to learn, but you should be able to get into it pretty easily, dota 2 incoming though!

I been addicted to leblanc cus she's such an underdog that blows your head off if you get careless but I might start playing another guy leblanc is fun but I lose a lot of games when they get to end game and I can't do much anymore. She's like the anti carry if I had to classify leblanc. Great for keeping carries down, gank them, keep them from getting fed. You get fed you peak around lv. 10 and then after that you can't do much on equal footing. JUst my 2c with her.

leblanc is really fun, but her late game sucks even if you get fed. Its always nice to almost one shot people with her full combo.

Its simpler than dota imo

The premise is the same, but a lot of smaller things are removed/changed, such as: no couriers, no runes, a spell that lets you TP back to base on every hero, vendors with recommended items/recipe trees, etc.

No denying is the biggest single change, of course.

The power of the champions is way lower, too. Stuns are hard to come by, unlike DotA where everyone has a 3 second stun/disable. There's a lot of skill shots in the game, which is unlike DotA - the more powerful disables/stuns do not auto-hit and need to be aimed.

Towers in LoL hit way harder and LoL has brush where you can hide.

There are a lot of direct ripoff champions, which is to be expected:

Drow Ranger = Ashe (except Ashe is awesome and Traxex was horrible when I played)
Stealth Assassin = Akali (again Akali is far better in this game)
Phantom Lancer = Shaco

Mordekaiser's ult is the same as Doom from DotA (can't remember the hero who had that) and Galio and Nunu have similar ults to Enigma's "black hole" ult (though not nearly as good).
