I looked up her kit but I have no idea how she could do that amount of damage

Caster acting like 5% of max hp is a big deal but it really isn't (not even 50 damage)

Maybe because of minions + 3rd hit + dash (= 3 bolts) = 500dmg burst?

Personally I hate it but in soloQ it's not that bad since people suck at capitalizing on death timers.

For competitive it makes the games pretty boring since teams don't want to take risky plays because if it goes wrong they lose the game resulting in a stall fest

Or you have one big team fight and the winner of that fight win.
