2p2 pool? i get it on mon/wed/thurs, u guys get other days?
but seriously though, I actually don't think the ammy will get sold at its current start bid (530M), MF may be undervalued until they officially announce what they're doing to it next patch
TLDR - my thoughts on D3. Real long, really not worth reading ha ha.
I've invested around 150 hours into the game now and I wanted to share my thoughts...
First some perspective, I have a level 60 Demon Hunter (37k HP / 28k DPS, 600+ all resist) and a Level 45 Barbarian. I've dabbled around in Hardcore but have never survived a character past level 30 despite a few attempts. I have 200k gold total and I've never used the RMAH. Most of time is spent farming Act 1 in Inferno. I like to think of myself as a casual player. I've been playing since a few weeks after launch.
Overall I would rate Diablo 3... B -
I found the initial play through of the game a fun experience. Diablo 3 is an exceptionally well paced game. The leveling from 1-60 coincides almost perfectly with progression through the acts and difficulties. I only remember having to "grind" out the same quest chain at 32 -36 and 48-50, and if I chose to play in a non-co/op game, the first roadblock would have not been an issue. The initial play through of the Diablo 3 was an enjoyable 50 hours and I felt it was alone worth my $60. I was excited to see what Inferno difficulty brought and experience the end-game...
In my opinion Inferno difficulty is poorly designed. The biggest problem in my opinion is that the jump in required gear from just beating Hell difficulty to succeeding in Act 1 Inferno is too large. This problem is compounded by the fact that Act 4 Hell difficulty doesn't drop useful gear for Act 1 Inferno.
I'm enjoying farming gear in Act 1 Inferno, so that I can progress through Act 2 Inferno. I don't mind the time investment. However, the initial time investment to be able to progress through Act 1 Inferno I found absurd. I needed to farm content I couldn't yet beat in order to gear up. Since the content I could farm didn't drop anything useful. That seemed wrong.
Moving on, I think the re playability for Diablo 3 is poor. This is my probably my biggest reasoning for giving the game a B- vs. a B+/A-. I've dreaded leveling up my Alt for two reasons; I've spent so much time having to farm Act 1 in inferno, that I dread progressing through it 3 times on my alt. I can't find quality co/op games. It feels in every game one or two people are AFK'ing or people don't stick together when we are dungeon crawling. Nobody really chats, communication is never necessary. Despite being dated, I found the game lobby in Diablo 2 better than what we have now.
My biggest gripe is the failure of the vote to kick system. I shouldn't have to have 3 of the 4 members, right click and hit vote to kick. If I vote to kick, a prompt should pop up on their screens telling them to vote to kick or not and then it takes 3/4 votes. It makes it difficult to boot AFK'ers (which is a huge problem IMO). As I have progressed through the game, I feel I've been steered towards non Co/op player. I farm in "single player games" and now I level my alt in them too.
It's also dumb, I can't be in party chat and multiple other chats at once. I shouldn't have to leave party chat. I didn't even know there was a multiple chat channels until I was like level 40. Having said that, trade and general are ghost towns anyways and now filled with gold spammers - \which is absurd.
Crafting seems pointless. I sunk a lot of resources into leveling up my skills. The only useless things I've gained is the ability to make better gems. I have never once crafted anything of value yet. Trade skills need to be tinkered with to make them more viable.
PvP can't get here soon enough. I don't get why we can't just right click go hostile with someone now and go mess around outside the towns. I don't need arenas or anything cool.
I think a an additional experience thing would be nice. Say I progress through a few Acts in Inferno, my character strength should innately be strong now. Maybe as you progress through the Acts in Inferno you get innate rewards. Like innate faster run speed, or innate magic find, 3% more health, add a socket to an item, stuff like that. Give non-loot-able rewards for progression through inferno, I need a carrot to want to grind to gear up to progress through this.
****, just add 15 more levels, so that my character will be level 75 when I beat Inferno. I don't even care if I can't get new skills, at least give me a false sense of more progression.
Overall, I think the game just has a terrible end game. 1-60 was a ton of fun and well balanced and I felt it was worth my money. But everything now is poorly designed and implemented. This game needs a shot in the arm this soon after release, I'm worried.

They've made the game where you can get ilvl 62 armor in hell act 4, those types of armor should be plenty enough to grind act 1 inferno where you can get ilvl 63 weapons/armor and ilvl 62 armor drops increase. These statements would have held merit before the loot changes, but they were changed a few weeks back. Crafting is actually the opposite of useless, if you read the recent posts in this thread about magic find you'll know why crafting 6 property pieces of armor has been so profitable in the past month. Adding 15 levels won't really change what is wrong with the game. Unless they make each level in 61-75 ten times harder than 59-60, then it may add some fake content that people are looking for. But if leveling continues at the same rate as 1-60 it will just take 5-15 hours longer to hit level 75 than it took to hit level 60.

I had no idea about the loot changes and I'll read the crafting thread.
I hadn't been back to play Hell A4 in months, and my Alt isn't there yet. So I didn't naturally notice obviously. I guess I should pay more attention to the forums and patch notes.
The information isn't in the crafting thread, its earlier in this thread. Simply put, it's hard to get 6 affix rares but easy to farm materials to craft 6 affix armor.
Crafting and selling potentially netted people $1k+ in money and hundreds of millions in in-game gold. It's still possible to do it today, but much harder since the loot changes because the number of crafters has gone up quite a bit as compared to before. You'll need a large starting bankroll to withstand any bad crafting stretches (40m+).
