Re: Diablo 3 LC/General Error 37 Discussion Thread
we'll have some 2p2 pvp tournaments, dont worry .
And imagine all the builds you can concoct in your basement for 1v1s, 2v2s, 3v3s, 4v4s, etc.
Should be loads of fun, and farming inbetween to get pvp gear =).

dudez, its only twice the 63 drops as before, which everyone said were ridiculously low.
they still dont drop that much. Yeah some rare times youll get two 63s from one boss... so? -.-

Re: Diablo 3 LC/General Error 37 Discussion Thread
I put up most of my gear on the RMAH for $200-250
I'll probably play HC for a few weeks and see how that goes. Hopefully things are a little bit more stable there. In HC, I doubt prices will drop a significant amount with this loot change. That's when you know the game is at a good difficulty level. That even doubling the drop rate doesn't change the economy that much.

I'm just afraid it'll be disasterous, obviously lol volume and it's rather irrelevant. Just annoys me that every change since release is just cutting/multiplying numbers without thinking through the mechanics. It feels like testing phase, let's double this number and see what happens.

I'd be willing to bet a decent sized amount of gold that they re-adjust the loot one more time.

Re: Diablo 3 LC/General Error 37 Discussion Thread
i'm still waiting on blizz to have private chat channels, why was that not a feature on release?
i imagine my enjoyment of the game would go up 10fold if i had a crew to chat with between games, and could more easily organize things.
another random thought, i was thinking of going to hardcore myself for a bit, would be a good distraction for me until they release pvp content. another part of me says why waste the time though, i might as well get myself into a good position to get some good ish once that legendary patch happens so i can quickly gear my pvp guy up.

Re: Diablo 3 LC/General Error 37 Discussion Thread
I am going to use this time to get each character up to level 60. The way that Blizzard keeps changing the game, I have no way of knowing which character will be the best, so I had better have one of each...I have only played a wiz, so it should add some excitement to the game. I should also be able to outfit them for inferno pretty cheaply in the time it takes me to get them to 60.

Re: Diablo 3 LC/General Error 37 Discussion Thread
When I put on my tinfoil hat, I start considering the possibility that they're doing it on purpose. For some reason seems like they don't really want to support community building within their games, maybe they think it's bad for RMAH or something? They've already released games with private chat channels, (more) customizable chat, tabs on chat screen etc. It's not like they'd be hard to implement or take a lot of resources, so removing them has to be a intentional decision, but why?
Even Diablo II had quite awesome chat, at least in FIN channels there was always a lot of chat going on, even in 2012 (not sure about after d3 release). In D3 there is pretty much zero community features in game. It's all 3rd party forums.

Re: Diablo 3 LC/General Error 37 Discussion Thread
Agreed. The game just feel so isolated and singleplayer-ish. Only reason why I think I'm playing with other people is because of the AH.
Edit: Pants are gone now too. Two out of the 3 BiS items have gone bye bye. I hope this gamble pays off. Maybe I can rebuy them at half the price a month from now.

Re: Diablo 3 LC/General Error 37 Discussion Thread
Haha, half my items gone for $250 a piece. Too they're devaluing every second. I looked at the AH to compare my gear to what new ones are popping up. Lots of new items out there that are just slightly worse than mine for 40-80 million. They're basically paying 2x for a slightly better item that will itself devalue in a week.
The only ones that I probably sold at a loss were my pants, off-hand and weapon Those are probably worth 150-250m
