Re: Diablo 3

My 8 year old cries while playing Minecraft because he's scared of dying in a dark cave to zombies/creepers.

Please go back and play the original Diablo. You will play it and realize how big of a pussy you were when you were 10.

The entire series has been extremely consistent in overall look and feel.

Re: Diablo 3

I played it less than a year ago, hellfire expansion. it is still all of the things i just said, albeit less scary because i know what's coming. part is due to the grainy old graphics and poor lighting though.

So.. there's a room with naked dismembered bodies, tits and all impaled? in diablo 3?

I wasn't 10 when Diablo 1 came out.

Re: Diablo 3

Being consistent in overall look and feel != every single thing in diablo 1 is in diablo 3.

Re: Diablo 3

I'm sure there will be just as many demon tits in D3 as there were in 1 and 2.

We all love our Succubi.

I think it being consistent is entirely subjective and depends on what made your Diablo 1&2 experience. Else there wouldn't be so many complaints no? I for one get no enjoyment out of WoW type style, takes away from the game.

Hotlink4lyfe.

You're in denial if you think the the style being used in d3 is consistent to what was in d1/2. D3 is closer in style to WoW than d1. People today want large shoulder pads, they want blue palettes, they want sunshine and rainbows. Actually, I want sunshine and rainbows too.

Re: Diablo 3

We've been over this.

D3 is done with a 3D engine and not with 2D sprites. Enjoy your better graphics and anti-aliasing.

I find it funny that someone who claims to have played the D3 beta thinks it contains "sunshine and rainbows".

BREAKING NEWS ALERT!!!!!

THE GRASS IN DIABLO 1 WAS GREEN AS WELL!

Re: Diablo 3

Sigh it's got f all to do with the grass it seems the whole thing has gone completely over your flippin head. You're showing a picture of town not the dungeons. Ridic facepalm. End discussion.

Is this type of room in D3?

Don't answer. really can't be fussed. Wtf anti aliasing? What does anti aliasing have to do with the tone of the art style.. good lord.

my face and palm hurts so much right now.

i'll bet you an amount of money that there is not a single room in d3 that resembles that room.

Agreed, there will be plenty of violence but the odds of seeing a body crucified upside down at any point is slim.

A few years ago they pissed off peopel by saying there weren't gonna be any pentagrams in the game, but eventually relented, there are a few small ones here and there, whereas D2 they were all over the damn place.

There's a lot of parents out there who don't care how much violence is in their kids video games but if they see a pentagram OMG they are trying to turn my kid into a devil worshipper!

You don't either then? If that is really your argument how can you claim that the game will become more diablo-like as we go along? I am hoping that things do get "darker," but I've seen nothing so far that would lead me to believe that. Basing predictions off of what we've seen so far seems much more logical than just having faith.
